  1. Right on. It is unbelievable that Sheets is not up yet. You don’t even need to get rid of Lamb.. Send down Wright. Why do we need so many relievers? Sox have scored 1 run in 2 games. We need good hitters.
  2. Is he better than Sheets? Sheets should be brought up. Our bench now is horrible.
  3. Nonetheless, 5-9 Goodwin, Leury,Lamb, Mendick, and Collins batting back to back is brutal. And will not even mention their D. Got to be our one of our worst overall line ups of the season. I am concerned that we may be getting used to losing.
  4. Missing Goodwin. Don’t expect his record to be great.
  5. Certainly not lately. Hawks averaged around 3 goals per game last season.
  6. No. But we have a few fourth liners in our starting line up now.
  7. Sox are looking like the Blackhawks of late. A core of stars with a minor league/ journeymen supporting cast. We need to upgrade the supporting cast.
  8. I agree. We already had good relievers. Our principal need was a good defensive outfielder with power to play RF or a good catcher. That is where we should have spent our resources not on a reliever in my opinion.
  9. How many losses were caused by questionable TLR decisions? How many by bad defense? Bad pitching? Lack of hitting with RISP? These are probably the major reasons?.
  10. You pitch to Vlad on an RBI situation in a one run game with first base open does not help, like tonight. Bad bullpen management does not help. Failure to hit and run and keep hitting into double plays does not help. Bad OF and catcher defense does not help. Amongst others.....
  11. Right on. But we also let Vlad drive the first run on a 3-0 count and first base open. And we keep hitting into double plays, and never adjust with a hit and run. If the home runs don’t come, we lose with old style station to station ball.
  12. What are they waiting to bring Sheets back up.
  13. You can’t, not only offensively but defensively. When you throw Goodwin, Mendick, and Zeby in the same lineup, you are too exposed and it is hard to win.
  14. Seby’s D is getting progressively worse. He has been a passed ball machine. No way he can catch theKimbrel breaking pitches. Although the 0-2 pitch byKimbrel was terrible, particularly with Seby catching. Wish we had McCann still in the team.
  15. Particularly if we do not hit and run with Abreu and Vaughn. Is TLR napping again? Call the friggin hit and run. Abreu and Vaughn are double play hitting machines on the sinker. Can we ever adjust strategies?
  16. Need to bring Sheets up. Why do we need some many relievers if we can’t score runs.
  17. Man, this defensive combo of Goodwin, Mendick and Seby makes you hold your breath several times a game. Glad Robert was in CF on that line drive in the 4 th.
  18. Vaughn is not an RBI machine. He can’t hit with RISP lately.
  19. We have to hit and run with both Abreu and Vaughn whenever possible.
  20. Many impatient hitters. Not working the count. Many swing and misses. No hit and runs to force good at bats and moving the infield around. Poor moving the runners over. Madrigal was one of our most patients hitters who worked the count but he is not on the team any more.
  21. What about hit and running with Vaughn at bat. Another friggin double play. Back to station to station baseball waiting for a home run.
  22. It’s on NBC Sports Chicago with Benetti and Gordo.
