  1. Happy that TLR finally went with Graveman pitching in 2 innings. Enough of these top relievers facing one or two hitters in one inning and not coming back the next like with ReyLo yesterday..
  2. No wonder Rutschman was #1 pick in the draft.
  3. Great unSox like base running. On the FS1 broadcast before this play, they said that Andrus was a very good base runner. Good forecast.
  4. Sheets has provided help in this game. No excuses. Abreu is batting .225 with RISP. He did not swing at one strike in his strike out with bases loaded. He swung at a ball over his ahead again. Last night he also struck out with bases loaded and-a 3-2 count swinging at a ball over his head in the 9 th. A walk would have Put us in a position to win the game. You need more disciplined at bats. Someone needs to talk to him , he doesn’t need to hit a grand slam. Just be more selective and look for his pitch to hit.
  5. Bad hitters, bad defense, bad and slow base running, bad manager/coaches. Overall bad.
  6. According to FS1 broadcasters Abreu is hitting just .227 with RISP. This has hurt the Sox this year.
  7. And Andrus pulled a Moncada style 3 rd strike taken with two in scoring position. We don’t seem to be able to pile up the runs/ big crooked number innings.
  8. Cleveland is on a roll with no TLR type manager to screw things up. Can’t say the same for the Sox.
  9. Like Sheets hitting 5 th ahead of Moncada.
  10. Is Cairo alive? He sure not advising TLR right or TLR is not listening to him. He has been worthless IMO.
  11. Just for the level of energy and aggressiveness, and knowledge as a former MLB catcher he is the Anti-LaRussa. , which is what we need.
  12. Wow, what a surprise. I have been noticing Abreu pressing with RISP. Much more impatient and less selective.
  13. I don’t think so. He hasn’t been fired because JR is in denial and doesn’t want to admit the TLR hiring was a mistake, and TLR is his HOF buddy. One dinosaur covering for another.
  14. Apparently it worked as Guardians win 3-1 over SD.
  15. You are right. Abreu swinging at a high fastball over his head tostrike out with the bases loaded and one out killed any chances to come back. That ball was unhittable, might as well take it. Our hitters have been undisciplined and impatient with men on.
  16. Cease defeated by one bad pitch. But we have no margin for any error with our putrid offense with lack of power and poor clutch hitting.
  17. Maybe it estimates how long the ball would go if the high wall is not there?
  18. True, but Abreu swung at a ball over his head, which was unhittable, so might as well take the pitch on 3-2 with the bases loaded.
  19. Of course, but we are not hitting homers to clear the bases…
  20. He did not. Swung at ball 4 above his head with the bases loaded. Wow, He left many on base tonight.
