5/19: Royals @ White Sox - 7:10 PM Start

You know what day it is, Kopech Day!

Despite some recent success from KC and their hitters, Kopech should have an excellent start tonight if he can rely on the fastball and command it in the upper part of the strike zone. He really needs to dial it back a little and let the ball naturally move and not try and throw it 110 mph bc that is where his command issues originate.  Most importantly if he can avoid the fastball sitting middle-down and avoid anything hanging he should come away with the win tonight as our hitters are facing grandpa Greinke

Go Sox let's get a win tonight!

Thank you for your thoughtful commentary.

  • Greinke may be the worst starter in baseball or one of 'em. Tonight has to be an automatic W. Don't care about jinxes. This team isn't good nuff to worry about jinx statements. Just beat this pat

Lopez is a local product? Huh, who knew.

I forgot Romy was on the team. It's a weird feeling to think "Man, can they really afford to give an off day to... Hanser Alberto?"

Just beat this pathetic Royals team or will Massey and Lopez single handedly beat Chicago cause they have a few family and friends in the stands? This sad excuse for a team needs to dust off the pathetic Royals like everybody else does.

Final: Sox 9, KC 2. On to game two. Right?

Naperville is not Chicago.

Benetti needs to

Sounds familiar...

Lets just get a win tonight.

you know, i'd like to see the city connects tonight

If the White Sox score seven or eight runs like they did in the first two games against Cleveland, they'll probably win tonight. Scoring only one run like yesterday made no sense.

Kopech is SO BAD

lucky

Over under on how many times Jason says Massey is a Sox fan?

How long will the charade of those two batting 1 and 2 go on for?

lol sit down clowns

Those were both nice plays by two non outfielders. I'm more jealous they can play out of position and make good plays.

Greinke sucks and left a lot of pitches over the heart of the plate, but it looks like we suck at hitting again, so…
