  1. And Andrus pulled a Moncada style 3 rd strike taken with two in scoring position. We don’t seem to be able to pile up the runs/ big crooked number innings.
  2. Cleveland is on a roll with no TLR type manager to screw things up. Can’t say the same for the Sox.
  3. Like Sheets hitting 5 th ahead of Moncada.
  4. Is Cairo alive? He sure not advising TLR right or TLR is not listening to him. He has been worthless IMO.
  5. Just for the level of energy and aggressiveness, and knowledge as a former MLB catcher he is the Anti-LaRussa. , which is what we need.
  6. Wow, what a surprise. I have been noticing Abreu pressing with RISP. Much more impatient and less selective.
  7. I don’t think so. He hasn’t been fired because JR is in denial and doesn’t want to admit the TLR hiring was a mistake, and TLR is his HOF buddy. One dinosaur covering for another.
  8. Apparently it worked as Guardians win 3-1 over SD.
  9. You are right. Abreu swinging at a high fastball over his head tostrike out with the bases loaded and one out killed any chances to come back. That ball was unhittable, might as well take it. Our hitters have been undisciplined and impatient with men on.
  10. Cease defeated by one bad pitch. But we have no margin for any error with our putrid offense with lack of power and poor clutch hitting.
  11. Maybe it estimates how long the ball would go if the high wall is not there?
  12. True, but Abreu swung at a ball over his head, which was unhittable, so might as well take the pitch on 3-2 with the bases loaded.
  13. Of course, but we are not hitting homers to clear the bases…
  14. He did not. Swung at ball 4 above his head with the bases loaded. Wow, He left many on base tonight.
  15. This has been the story all season, we screw around all game cannot get any runs against mediocre pitchers and get a couple runs behind late and then need to face the best closers.
  16. Ha Ha. The high deep wall just took away the second homer of the game. Both doubles by Robert and Seby would have been a homer in any other park…
  17. Well he may have as well left Diekmann in to pitch to Mateo with two lefties coming next, instead of bringing in Lambert to throw a high hanging slider cookie and the run scores any way.
  18. The Orioles have more speed and aggressive running game as well, the complete opposite of the Sox.
  19. Lots of singles but no clutch hitting and lack of power.
  20. Lack of hustle running out of the box cost us a possible triple and a run. Compounded by Eloy not moving Robert to third. Sox offense has been putrid and cannot afford any mistakes such as this running play, theCease hanging slider for 3 run homer, leadoff walks, have all hurt the Sox in this game. We are sucking big time.
