Not scoring with the bases loaded and no outs with the heart of your order up is unacceptable, First, bad base running by Sevy not scoring from second on a base hit. Then Eloy and Abreu both strike out. Grandal grounds out. Abreu a major bust with RISP in this series. Sox a failure with the bases loaded once again. Everyone trying to hit a grand slam instead of making contact. We are sucking once again.

And our hitters 5-9 are mediocre at best.

Ground balls = no fireworks. ?

This hurts even more when you play at the 3 rd easiest park to hit homers , GRF, and we have a losing record there because we get out homered in most games. Roster was not properly constructed for GRF with many ground ball hitters and not enough consistent home run hitters.

TLR has killed this season. He has drained all energy from the team and the fans. No sense of urgency or desperation. Terrible decisions every game. There was a closeup shot of the Sox dugout tonight and it looked like a funeral. Very sad. We lost this game after leading 3-1 late without ReyLo, Kelly, Graveman or Hendriks pitching.

Still we need relievers capable to pitch two days in a row in a pennant race. This Lambert 8 th inning is an unacceptable nightmare. TLR threw the white surrender flag in a 4-3 game.

Royals embarrassing the Sox tonight. Matheny out managing TLR by a mile. Royals much hungrier than the Sox, also mentioned by Karros. We need to use our best players in these close games.

Where were ReyLo, Kelly, Graveman and Hendriks all strike out pitchers? We bring in Lambert instead. TLR should resign tonight. We need more energy and urgency in our manager. TLR is not the one.

Yes it was Karros. He said Sox 26 th out of 30 teams in homers. He pretty much wrote off the Sox. Said Sox are the worst defensive team in the AL.. He also said the Sox were underestimating a hungry Royals team coming into this series.

To face three lefties in a game situation like tonight. TLR is so incompetent. It is pitiful.

We are in a pennant race and we need to go all out. Relievers had to be up starting the 6 th. Need to protect the lead in this game. TLR is too formulaic, he has relievers assigned to innings. And don’t want to deviate. Diekmann had to come in for the lefty batters. No urgency.

They should have had a reliever up for Salvy. Didn’t get the memo to not let Perez beat us.

So much for Groundball City offense. It’s hard to score runs with singles and slow runners, and without many extra base hits/ homers. Can’t hit homers with ground balls.

Lack of speed has cost us two runs so far with Abreu and Grandal staying put at 3 rd on potential sacrifice flies.

It is a shame, because we have the pitching to contend and win in the playoffs. Not adding a quality LH outfielder at the trade deadline was awful. The FS1 crew commented that no other teams would like to face theWhite Sox in the playoffs because of our pitching, don’t want to have to face Cease, Kopech, Giolito, Lynn and Cueto plus our bullpen in a playoff series.

No clutch hitting or homers again. I think if we are to win tonight, somebody is going to have to hit a homer or at least a big hit with men on.

You are absolutely right. What use is too advance two feet in case the ball drops. If it drops you will score regardless. Isn’t Super Joe telling Abreu to get ready to tag up?

On FS1 they just mentioned that the Sox have had 110 different lineups out of 111 games. Unbelievable. Many opportunities for TLR to screw it up. It also shows not only injuries but also too many players resting.

Abreu should have tagged up on the Sheets fly ball. Royals LF wasn’t positioned to throw home. He thought it was the third out. Our base running sucks. Also lineup with Yoan and Grandal back to back is not too hot.
