  1. Practically every game we need to sweat it out with a sense of apprehension that TLR or our D,, or our bullpen, etc. somehow will screw things up.
  2. Trading McGuire is looking like a blunder now, with a burnt out Grandal. Who in the minors can catch at this level?
  3. I think TLR pulls him out for Gonzalez at bat because Gonzalez had 2 hits against Cueto in the game. Regardless, Cueto was over 100 pitches and Liam should have started the 9th. Cueto was the hero despite Super Joe, TLR, Harrison error, inability to score from 3 rd. With less than 2 outs, the usual Soxisms. Cueto saved the season so far.
  4. Fireable offense. Sending the slowest runner in the majors home with NO outs is unacceptable. We have had the most runners thrown out at home in the majors this season. Super Joe needs to be removed from 3 rd base coach. In hindsight Yaz should have been pinched run for in the first place. This is the season on the line. With TLR and Super Joe running the show is a heavy load to carry..
  5. Haseley is best known for crashing into Mendick in short LF and put him out for the season. Mendick’s absence has hurt the team and led to an overdose of Leury.
  6. But Sheets bat nowadays is better, and D is not worse than Vaughn IMO.
  7. No problem. Vaughn has sucked the last few games. One less DP candidate in the lineup. Won’t miss his D in RF.
  8. An empty stadium and incessant Fire Tony chants of the few who attend, plus declining TV audiences might move the needle.
  9. Main difference is that Rodon is a lefty, and we have no lefty SP to throw at lefty laden teams.
  10. Time to revive the Fire Tony chant and keep it up until he leaves for good.
  11. So sad. ?. It. Is hard to win without Eloy, Robert and TA, and on top of that with TLRstill in charge.
  12. Tony explained that he walked Gonzalez on a 1-2 count because he was hitting .300. But hitters on 1-2 counts hit under .200. He has lost it.
  13. TLR doesn’t know that hitters with 2 strikes average less than .200 The .300 avg that he refers to is average of all counts not just a 1-2 count. What an incompetent. Pls recall his HOF plaque.
  14. Hitters with two strikes hit less than .200 not .300. What a stupid ignorant ass,
  15. Call 911 to take him away for check up and rehab.
  16. Grandal may be getting hot in TLR’s mind, but Sheets was already hot, 4-4 in last game and hitting for many xtra base hits last few games. He was left on the bench. TLR incompetence is incredible. In 99% of other organizations, he would have been fired by now or would not have been hired in the first place past retirement age.
  17. Ít all started with trading for Kimbrel. We did not need a second closer. What we needed instead was a quality left handed outfielder instead. At the end we ended with a costly Pollock and no Madrigal.
  18. He needs to go for a neurological evaluation. Take a leave of absence. He is not making sense. He is an embarrassment to the Sox and to MLB. MLB is trying to attract younger fans and we throw this dinosaur at them.
  19. Nobody understood his moves tonight either. This guy is toast. He should resign. He is ruining his HOF legacy with all his inexplicable and incompetent moves.
  20. Stoney comments at the end of the game “we saw some unusual things in the game tonight, very frustrating, one of the most frustrating games of the year”. Got to believe he was referring to TLR inexplicable moves. After tonight TLRis only supported by Himself and JR..
