Right field grass needs some weeding and other maintenance provided by Sheets.

Grandal hitting 5 th again is not a good idea.

I don’t think the Sox will trade TA. They tried to make him the face of baseball in the South Side. It would look bad for them to trade him.

I was leaning to Gavin, but after that flop in RF last night when he was eating some grass before the ball arrived tilted me back to AV for now.

He can’t be worse than Sheets in RF.

I would keep A J hitting 3 rd where he has been doing well. Vaughn to hit 6 th. Grandal hitting 7 th if at all, he has been horrible.

Any chanceTLR gets suspended along TA? That would be good.

TLR figures we didn’t need defense in right field, because most balls hit there with Lynn pitching would probably be home runs anyway. Oakland hit 5 homers on Friday at GRF while we hit only one. A sure formula for losing. At GRF we need homers, so we need guys like Vaughn in the lineup.

But so has Grandal, who keeps playing, and with a far lower batting avg. than Vaughn.

A’s embarrassing us tonight. Just squeezed bunt another run after Sheets couldn’t makes play in RF. We are looking as the 2 nd worse team in MLB instead of the A’s.

They will probably go with more relievers when our main problem is not scoring enough runs and not hitting enough homers.

Mostly because we don’t hit enough homers while our pitching is throwing many gopher balls at home. Simple Sox math.

FO too worried about relievers and not bringing in any lefty sluggers. Our priorities have been terrible.

A’s four homers tonight so far. Giving away our home field advantage once again. Go after Gallo, we need a lefty slugger pretty badly.

TA 7 dumb play. Getting tossed out for complaining about a called first strike and making contact with the ump which he may get a suspension for. This team as a whole is very undisciplined and dumb.

He should have been hitting 5th ahead of Grandal. TLR prefers a crappy lefty-righty matchup than hitting a hot slugger like Eloy against a righty. Grandal failed at bat in the 6 th with men at 2 nd and 3 rd may end up costing us this game.
