  1. Terrified of Eloy in the outfield the next week.
  2. Lynn is the one guy who I think would refuse to be shut down. His issue right now is that he labors to get to the fifth inning. That being said, I think many pitchers will struggle to get over 200 innnings pitched with Covid. Cole really has to step it up to challenge Lynn for the Cy Young. Neither will get close to 20 wins. Both will still likely pass 15. I think if Lynn finishes 15-4 with a 2.25-2.50 era, that get's it done.
  3. Lynn said he was getting checked out by the trainer.
  4. Can't wait for the demote Liam posts if he gives up a run.
  5. They lost out on Frazier awhile ago. I don't think they could do both. Would rather have Hernandez and Kimbrel than no Kimbrel and Frazier.
  6. I think so. My guess is if it's a multiple inning save, it's Liam. If it's not, it's Kimbrel.
  7. Doubt anyone is hurt. Liam just might have a night off.
  8. ? True story. Joel Coen once turned me down when I was demoing lemonade at Fairway on the UES.
  9. I would honestly be shocked if he got a suspension for this. They rally need to regulate how they do this. Like after a certain point, you can't ask to check. Sort of like replay.
  10. I think unless, he actually threw his belt at an ump, he won't be suspended. I gather he was pissed at being asked to go back out and do an additional check. I've seen him comply with checks before just fine.
  11. All I gotta say about the Big Bastard is Go off king. He makes me proud.
  12. If Eloy can get better at LF and not hurt himself, I don't have a problem with him being in LF. Eventually would like to see him transition to 1st though.
  13. The way we have handled Crochet is similar to the way Sale was handled. Sale was actually used as a closer in his rookie season.
  14. He definitely had a bad game Sunday. That being said, he's made some pretty incredible plays in the field that I'm not sure Madrigal would have made. And there were some very routine plays that Madrigal botched. I think Madrigal is a fine player. Potentially an All Star. He also has a very low ceiling. Cesar is better this year and it's possible the White Sox sign a 2nd Baseman in the off season because it's a very deep market for 2nd Baseman.
  15. Has Nick won a Gold Glove? Cesar is a Gold Glove winner. Does Cesar run us out of innings? NIck ran us out of innings how many times these past two years? I think Nick was going to eventually learn but I don't think we had the patience to go on that ride with him. Right now, Cesar hits for power more, he has the same base stealing ability, he's a better defender, and he just has much higher baseball IQ. Right now and for the next few years, he's a better player. Heuer may be a very good releiver. Or he might be a bust. Kimbrel is a hall of famer pitching at the height of his powers.
  16. * Hall of fame closer. Heuer got his first save tonight but we honestly have no idea what he will amount to. And Madrigal's ceiling is kind of low. Like I said, Cesar will be a better player in the immediate future.
  17. Anyone who references this masterpiece gets a like from me.
