Freddie is pitching well enough to sign him next year; hope he doesn't cost us today.
-
I wish it was packed and the fans were cheering on every pitch. Our offense is acting morose.
-
I never thought it'd be 1-0 at this point. Hard hit ball into the shift.
-
Holy f***ing s***. Gavin's being big time. Our hitters gotta remember their jobs today. Can be a glorious day but we gotta score some runs!!!
-
I don't know if I can watch if DJ comes in. Wish it was 4-0 Sox. We had Freddie deaddie in the first. Cmon Sox. Hang in there.
-
Crowd needs to get into it again. Cmon Gavin.
-
Hope you right. But he knows he's got the whole field to work with against our boppers who like to hit deep fly outs.
-
Wise definitely is an automatic out unless they walk him. I didn't like Freddie's grin. I think he knows he's got us.
-
Fred's getting into a groove. f***o. Wish out guys would just bash the ball for singles sometimes. Freddie is doing a fine job.
-
Nice wood on the ball, but get it down, OC. Leadoff hitters need singles.
-
THese are some true Sox fans at the game. Keep cheering loudly fans. Cmon lineup!
-
Super job by Gav and the fans. Folks Freddie's lobbing it in there; hope our guys get the timing down before they yank him. Cmon Sox! Good job Gavin.
-
Coop needs to go out there; Gavin is f***ing up a bit. He's falling all over. Wild.
-
Gavin is sort of wild; Tigers have helped us out a bit. Trouble?
-
I would encourage all of you to email Oz as I am telling him that's stupid. Feel free to fly out of O'Hare or Midway. True Sox fans don't blame him or if they blame him don't want to yell at him in person. They blame the injury gods and the baseball gods. Just ask Mets fans how s*** happens in this damn lovable sport.

Man up, gavin and get it to danks on Tuesday. Employees are supposed to make their bosses look good. Cmon Gavin. Do a job!
-
I'm spent as well. This is wild stuff. Bedtime for bonzo.

It would be a tough loss vs. last place team that isn't that bad but underachieved and will be w/out starting shortstop tomorrow. Cabrera and Sheff and Freddy could beat us triple handedly. Think if we win how exciting Tuesday would be. My gosh. Just get it done and bring on the damn drama!!

If we can't beat the Tigers in our home stadium when they are in last place and having a bad month we don't deserve to move on. It's in the Cell and we have much to play for and they nothing. I know it's baseball and anything can happen as we found out this past 2 weeks. But if we can 't beat the Tigers of this year, we deserve to sit home or in Oz's case flee. Did you read he's planned his getaway in case we lose. He doesn't want to see dejected fans at Midway or O'Hare so he's thinking about a private plane or driving to Milw. to get out.

No. The weird hex continues. Oz blasts Javy for not ever winning a big game and Javy predictably loses 2 big games in a week that kill us. Now we face "Big Game" Freddy. He thrives on this stage. We got problems unless Jimmy or Griffey go deep 2 times. p.s. Remember Tinker to Evans to Chance? Tomorrow it's gotta be Floyd to Thornton to Jenks.

I'm being bipolar again. My question to you ... Is Mark the only reason we won today? Since somebody not named Mark Buehrle is pitching tomorrow are we doomed to another blowout loss? If not, why not? Go Sox please win us a game!!
-
Let him demand a trade. Steve Swisher's kid did not have a good season. He can salvage it tomorrow by blasting 3 home runs.

Potential Sox playoff series to start Thursday

Now if we can just get there. One win gets us to Tuesday. -
Oh s*** ... Selfish Sheff is gonna be bombing for the fences. This is really not good news. This Freddie thing is also not good. Oz has already texted him. Freddie is gonna want blood.

How can you not love Oz or continue to love Oz win or lose tomorrow after this story? The reason I love him is he "gets it." By Mark Gonzales Chicago Tribune (MCT) CHICAGO — The message on the clubhouse bulletin board summed up the White Sox’s mission: “(Forget) feelings. It’s about winning!!!!” After a week in which Nick Swisher acknowledged his disappointment over being benched, Orlando Cabrera irked some teammates and Javier Vazquez swore at catcher A.J. Pierzynski, the Sox were reminded of their mission before Sunday’s 5-1 victory over Cleveland, which kept their postseason hopes alive. “I don’t care about (players’ feelings),” manager Ozzie Guillen said before the game. “They don’t care about mine. I never heard any player come to me and say, ’How are you feeling today?’ Only my wife told me this morning, ’How do you feel?’ I feel fine.” Guillen emphasized it would be a long and bitter off-season if the Sox failed to make the playoffs. “The only way we’re going to feel good about this, the only way we might not hate each other in the off-season, is we win,” Guillen said. “That’s it. It’s going to take a little while to get over this one if we don’t go where we’re supposed to go. “It’s not going to be easy for me to get over it if we don’t do what we’re supposed to do.” One player believed Vazquez’s cursing was good, simply because the players saw angry emotions they had never witnessed from him. It showed the mild-mannered pitcher cares. Meanwhile, Guillen estimated he got along with his players about 70 percent of the time. “That’s pretty good,” he said. “But the feelings we have for them, it’s different when it’s on the field and off the field. When it’s on the field, I have a job. Off the field, I love them to death. “But on the field I’m the manager ... and some players maybe like it and some players maybe don’t. But that’s why I’m their manager, to make decisions. I might make the wrong one, but the one I make has to be respected.”
