Wow. Lots of powerful quotes. I'm assuming only the Sun Times is caring about the past regarding our former skipper. Good for the Trib to not care to send a guy to Miami. Players? What players did Oz knock under the bus? Oz supported Jenks, he stood by Thornton, never blasted Pierre for his April blunders, pretty much was good with Beckham? WTF was Jerry talking about? Just Coop? Oh well, don't answer if u dont want. I don't really care. After watching video on mlb.com on the white sox page of highlights of Paulie/Dunn bombs and some interviews with Peavy, etc., I'm kind of excited for the season.

I did vote for Oz but only after 2 others did. Not lying. The reason I did is I think we have no face of the franchise. That's not necessarily a bad thing. In the city of chicago itself, I'd say the face of the franchise is Paulie obviously. For sure. AJ prolly a distant second. But nationally? Nobody cares about this team or Konerko. It's still Ozzie. I hope my beloved White Sox fans aren't turning into Kansas basketball fans who still follow Roy Williams and root for him to lose every game. Oz is gone; the Marlins have nothing to do with White Sox baseball. I just wish Mark and Oz good luck and root for the White Sox.

Good luck to Mark, arguably the greatest White Sox pitcher of the modern era. One of my all time favorites.
