Well spelling and punctuation aren't personal to me, but yes, I won't say anything else. Sorry captain.
-
Alright, see ya there...
-
Threatening someone really makes you look better too...
-
I am just wondering, are you capable of typing complete sentences with proper punctuation and correct spelling? It surely would help your credibility.

Durham helped them do what, get beat again in the first round? Again, I could care less about Chris Singleton, we were going to play Rowand anyhow, so we went younger and got a prospect. Fact is we didn't need him, except for the Bible study he did before the game.
-
Well you are wrong here, as I have seen Borchard at least 10 times with the Knights and in Spring Training... As for Reed, I've seen him for at least 5 games, so you are wrong there too. And by the way, I've been face to face with both and interviewed them and talked for upwards of 10-15 mins. And I guess my lengthy discussion about Borchard with Knights hitting coach Gregg Ritchie, who has coached him at both Birmingham and Charlotte doesn't matter either. So to say that none of us besides Rex knows anything about either guy is idiotic.

Here are the ones that you are wrong on, just so you know. Chris Singleton isn't and won't do anything in the bigs anymore and Harris has a chance to be a solid player for a long time. We got Alomar back, so I don't see how we lost by getting Pachecho. He could be an asset to our bullpen as early as next season. This was a case where KW dealt Alomar knowing he would most likely come back and we were out of the division, so it didn't matter. We got a free prospect. And again, Durham was leaving, we weren't going to offer arbitration, so we got Adkins, who is now in our bullpen. While it wasn't viewed as being good at the time, it is not clearly a "loss" for the Sox. Durham hasn't done a damn thing in a few years.
-
That depends if we trade him...If we got the right player in return, we can still win the division...You speak as if he has won so many divisions for us, last I checked he hasn't won anything except a 2000 division title and was then swept in the playoffs. He is treated like god around here at times and while he is a great player, he is not one of the top 20 players in baseball. And the fact that it seems like we are dealing with a Scott Boras client here makes it even more annoying with each passing day that we have to discuss his "deal," which isn't going to happen.
-
Sean Lowe.... He probably left tickets because no one else wanted to come watch him play.
-
I am tired of hearing about Maggs, when he wants to re-sign, make a post about that, until then, I am tired of hearing about his demands and what he wants in his deal...In fact I could give a s*** less anymore, to me he is now a primadonna by his willingness to publicly discuss the deal while KW is not talking about it at all. How about playing in a game again this year before signing off our future to suit your demands of 70 million.

Something to consider, there are more home runs per nine innings in the Cell right now than Coors, so what's to say Preston Wilson couldn't be a stud in the Cell?
-
The two main ones that I can point to are that Seattle game that was mentioned along with home game against the Yankees where we had a sizable lead and he gave up a bomb to Giambi and we ended up losing. Both came in huge spots where we had momentum and he just flat out blew it, no questions asked. And in 2002, when we needed him to step up early in the season, he went in the tank and we had to go to the two headed monster of Osuna and Marte. He then made people think he was having a "great" year by padding his stats in the mop-up role.
-
Foulke blew a ton of clutch games for the Sox and if you want me to start naming them I will...
-
Well he did throw a lot of innnings, so he should have known....
-
I agree, which is why I didn't really rip the trade.
-
Good one Ribbie.

I think the starter of this topic just crawled in a hole....

For Lumsden: What is your out pitch and what was your best memory in college baseball? And also, if you had to compare yourself to one lefthander today in baseball, who would it be and why? -
On a serious note, his era this season is worse than Koch's. He lost the closer role on Montreal, the worst team in baseball. The only thing Biddle has over Koch is better facial hair.
-
Morris will get more than both Loz or Lowe and I will venture to say that he will get more than Pavano based on their track records.
-
Your vision is very clouded. Tell me exactly what we would do with Biddle, Liefer and Osuna, only Osuna would even be on the team as a middle inning guy. They are all pretty much worthless. Felix Diaz is a nobody that came up BIG against the Cubs. Without him, you'd be b****ing even more about how we can't beat the Cubs. Wells was a cancer, but explain to me what Mike Sirotka has done to call this trade (player for player) a bust. When you get some good material, please post it. It would be a first.
-
Matt Morris deserves more than both of them along with Pedro. Those two guys to me will command the best deals. But I would probably take Loz over Lowe, although Lowe is a groundball pitcher who could be good again in a pitchers park.
-
No I think a team like Detroit, who needs a SP badly, will go after Loaiza.
-
If someone gives him huge money, he'll be the next Chan Ho Park. Book it. Sorry Loaiza, but no way do you merit Garcia money.
-
I don't think he sucks. He is aggressive and goes after people. The Colon trade, where he only gave up Liefer, Osuna and Biddle to get an all-star caliber pitcher at the time. There is no way you can spin the Colon trade in a negative way. Rocky Biddle is terrible, Liefer is a minor leaguer who wants to play in the majors and Osuna is an average at best bullpen guy. He also got Felix Diaz for Kenny Lofton, who was leaving at the end of the year. What about Enemencio Pachecho, who he got for Sandy, who then returned to the Sox the following season. And the Wells trade was for Mike Sirotka, who was never heard from again after he pitched his ass off for us in 2000. He also knew when to get rid of Jimenez last season when it was obvious he was becoming a cancer.
