ESPN Reporting
ESPN and ESPN news are reporting that Orlando and Houston have completed a seven player trade that will send Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato to the Orlando Magic for Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard, Reece Gaines and Tyron Lue.

Vic Darensbourg sent down
Wunsch won't be back, he'll be lucky to ever throw a pitch again with the Sox. Something happened that no one knows about between he and KW, and he won't be back with the team. What exactly that is, who knows, but for him to fall out as much as he has this year, something is not right. Once Show is back, the pitching will be like this: Buehrle, Loaiza, Garcia, Schoenweis, Garland Rauch, Diaz, Politte, Marte, Takatsu, Adkins, Cotts

More Idiots
Of course you don't...And that is evident by your promotion in your sig and avatar of thugs and felons like 50 Cent and 2Pac.

Our Roster
I just realized I left Gload off the list, but if we are to keep 3 catchers, he would appear to be the odd man out to me.

The Jeremy Reed Fallout
Borchard is now our top prospect and will most certainly be in the starting outfield come the beginning of 2005 at the age of 26. Good article Jas, maybe you should have me proofread more often....

Maggs to Padres?
If they wanna trade Peavy as part of the deal and we are for sure we can't re-sign Maggs, I am all for listening to offers from SD.

Sox vs Twins June 29th, 2004
I would say that Davis took the spot of Olivo and Garcia took the spot of Darrensbourg if I had to guess. Diaz or Rauch will start on Saturday, with one of them most likely coming out of the pen. And when Show is ready, I envision Jackson being released and Diaz and Rauch both being placed in the pen.

Brandon McCarthy Promoted to Winston Salem
Great news and good write up Jas.

Yes, I'll be thrilled with 2 out of 3.

Exactly, it's crazy how people are all of the sudden thinking we are just going to blow away the Twins. Expect a fight to the finish and nothing less, even with their mediocre pitching staff.

Hair-do from hell
You shoulda posted a warning before showing that hideous image.

I would also like to add that anyone who is sleeping on the Twins now that we got Garcia deserves a swift kick in the balls. We had Colon, a front line starter, all of last year and it got us nowhere. Perhaps the real difference will be "Ozzie ball," which in Hawk's dream world is only talked about when we are playing well.

Trade Aftermath
I agree that offensively Olivo is going to take a decline in offense out in Safeco. His real value will be if he can be a line drive hitter to the gaps there and making a living off of doubles. Home run cuts like he took at US Cellular will get him nowhere in Seattle.

And the Twins are the team to beat, not the Sox...as they have proven the past two seasons by beating our ass with a less talented team.

Serious Interest...
Who's to say he will thrive in the playoffs? He's never even sniffed them with Pitt and his contract is horrible.

Sox vs Twins June 29th, 2004
I expect a different approach from Buehrle tonight. Hopefully he can go back to the success he had earlier in the year.
