I'd have to say my favorite (besides my own) is either Jas's ChiSoxFn or TheBigHurtBEGOOD because it inspired it's own clickable smile on the site. Plus, be good is a pretty funny guy most of the time.

I guess he won't be coming then because I don't see Colon coming back. If we have indeed offered 3 years and 40 million and have gotten no response, I don't think he's coming back. I have to agree. I definitely don't agree with just throwing Ozzie out there as manager with no experience. Even though I wouldn't be totally miffed if they did hire him, I don't think it's the best move. Of the names, Gaston has had the most success in terms of winning. However, he's been out of the game for a while and I cannot figure out why that is the case. I think the Gaston/Guillen combo if we could do it would be the best move.

The year Fullmer had in 2000 was comparable if not better than Konerko's in 2002. Look at the numbers, he had over 30 HR and 100 RBI in 2000.

I've got experience as a moderator, as I moderated at the Chicago Sports Fans Forums back in 2000-2001, and am currently a moderator over at Blackhawkzone.com. The moderating crew needs a woman! I agree, Heather should get first nod at MOD..especially in front of me..she's been here way longer Fine. i added her as mod of the Test Board....I also made it so that even though she is a mod...she can't actually do anything.... But I'm not naming any more moderators, administrators or anything of the like anytime in the near future....Murice might, but I'm not....unless there is a compelling reason... Heads, are you going to be clearing out all of the names that are never used for other people to use? I'm hoping this would do it for me....cause i don't know which ones have been validated....ones that people have done evrything correctly and log in and read the board but never post.... i was lookin at the members list and there is a whole page filled with the name "Bring in Billy Koch" with a different number of exclamation points after it, i think all of those names can be deleted except for the one that posted and it was one message There's a lot of names like that. That's why I was wondering if he deleted those or not.

I know a lot of Sox fans, particularly many of the posters here at Sox Talk, were disappointed to say the least with William Koch this past season. So, what do you all think will become of Koch next season? Will he return to form or fall deeper into oblivion? Interested to see what everyone says about him.

He's not just a professional athlete but a person as well, we should be thankful that guys like Bullard, Bajenaru, and Cotts all post on these messageboards. Cotts will make all those people take their s*** back, I just know it. CWSOX45 I totally agree. I never ripped him like most did, just said he needs to cut down the walks. You could also try to lock Buehrle up beyond the three more seasons we have him. That's true as well, although Buehrle's contract should have been taken care of right after he won 19 games. We need to lock him up, he is a building block of this team. CWSOX45 Even if he has no intention of staying with the Sox past 2006, we've still got him until then. And in 2006, if we aren't in contention, he'll be good for a few good prospects during a pennant race or a first round draft pick after the season. I'd definitely like him to stay, but we've gotta give him a good offer.

That's true. Like I said, some of it was unjustified because you're putting a rookie in a tough spot. On the other hand, if you are a professional, you have to do your job. I've got no problem if someone gets rocked. But if they just walk everyone, I get rather irritated quickly. By walking everyone, you don't even give your defense a chance to save you.

He'll be gone, no doubt about it. If I remember correctly, he made some comments about Boston when we played them this year that really made it seem as though he was envious of what they were doing this year and how much he missed playing there.

Agreed, they were simply looking for one win in NY and they got it.

I may have been guilty of that, but the walks were ridiculous. He wasn't even close some of the time. To me, that justified some of the criticism. He is talented and still young though, so some of it was not justified.

I wouldn't give up a nut for any reason.
