  1. 2 outs with a chance to get out of it with no damage. Let's go Jose. No mistakes to this turd.
  2. Not even close to getting Sizemore. AJ had no chance. Jose not hitting his spots early on.
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:16 PM) Yea but with her new lips, she looks like s***. Oh.. go Sox. What's the attendance in Cleveland tonight... and how many articles were praising the Tribe win last night.. HEEEEYYYYY NOW, don't be talking s*** on my girl!!!!!!!
  4. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:14 PM) She had a nose job, huh? That was her worst feature. I still prefer Jess, so to each his own. They both have nice boobs. LOL, yep. Ashlee is taller, longer legs, so I'll take her. You can't go wrong with either one though. 93 MPH early for Count according to the Cleveland TV gun.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:13 PM) I take it neither Iguchi or Thome's deep hit to center were close to going out? Iguchi, no. Thome was to the warning track in center.
  6. We really need a hit here AJ. COME ON QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) He was yelling STRECH, when a blind monkey could tell that wasn't going. Yeah, he's doing that on any flyball now. Pretty damn annoying.
  7. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) LoL, I implemented Jessica yesterday to counter your Ashlee. With the new nose, Ashlee > Jessica.
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Thome gets the job done, Hawk is a moron. What did he say? Got Cleveland announcers here again.
  9. Funny how I have the best Simpson avatar in the thread. 2nd and 3rd, nobody out. YES
  10. Now let's get an early lead for Count. No f***ing around this game.
  11. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 07:02 PM) John Rheinecker will move up in the rotation to replace him Tuesday. Does he mean Sunday?
  12. I will tell you this, if its centered around the Cubs, it's not gonna be in this forum. I'm sure Northsidebaseball.com would like to talk about the Flubbies though.
  13. I'm not gonna read through all of this, but I think these type of threads are pretty pointless if you ask me. The amount of media coverage a certain team gets, who cares? Actually going and researching this stuff on a daily basis is even more ridiculous. Just worry about what's happening on the field. That's all that matters. Even worse is that people have replied to this to make it stick on the front page of PHT and also that its seven pages long.
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 03:07 PM) and if someone saw me for basketball it was because they were scouting a player on the other team and I happened to get in because we were down 30.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) His OPS over his last 2 1/3 seasons is easily over .800, he plays a very good defensive CF, is a switch hitter, and is a great team player. And Texas would trade him because?
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:32 PM) How can you not think that GM Jr. wouldn't be a huge addition? He's definitely better than what we have right now. However, I can't see the Rangers trading him. Well from what I know he's been on a lot of teams since he's been in the league and his career BA is under .250. Why should I be impressed?
  17. The Torii Hunter stuff can stop. It won't happen. Give me a legit name or two so we can discuss it. So far Lew Ford, Gary Matthews and Ryan Church don't sound like much to me.
  18. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) You don't trade within the division. Even if they would, the asking price will be too much. Think Sweeney + Mac. No way.
  19. s***ty second strike call there by the ump.
  20. QUOTE(JimH @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:21 PM) That's just it Alex. I can certainly understand giving Uribe some time off and sub with Cintron or Ozuna. As for CF, I can't think of any players that are on the market. Possibly there may be in another month but right now the option is to play Anderson more and hope he gets going, or send him down and replace him with another OF with CF experience. The White Sox don't have anyone like that (who hits righthanded). Before someone says Torii Hunter, the White Sox and Twins haven't traded with one another in eons. It's possible, but the odds are way way against it. The only team with an excess of OF who is looking for prospects is the Washington Nationals, and they don't have a righthanded hitting guy who can play CF. The Pirates have a guy on their 40 man roster the White Sox might like but why would Pittsburgh trade anybody young and cheap. So your question is very valid. It's easy to say go out and get someone, but from looking at other teams rosters, I don't see too many possibilities. And with that, is exactly why BA should continue to play until we are able to make a move. There are no options in Charlotte and Mack can't play there everyday. I'd rather see Uribe benched until he gets his act together. At least Cintron is hitting the ball well and is serviceable as a SS.
  21. QUOTE(ThinWhiteDuque @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:15 PM) RYAN CHURCH Or, Jose Guillen, and move Pods to CF. The Nationals' firesale will begin shortly. Podsednik can't play CF. Quit with the foolishness.
  22. QUOTE(fathom @ May 31, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) I ran my mouth, and the reason is that I think there needs to be a total change. We need to acquire a new CF. This team isn't good enough to have two total holes in the lineup, and it's easier to find another outfielder than it is a new SS. Names please?
  23. Hopefully every person who ran and ran their mouth about Anderson today just saw Mackowiak try to make that play in center.
