Nothing could be worse than the 19-1 smack down the Angels put on us last season. Actually, hold that thought...

Aaron has no stick at all. I mean I could live with a hit once every other game, but this is getting ridiculous. If JB was 100%, I'd say bring him up now but he isn't.
-
If you picked Rowand, here's my message to you :finger

Can't wait for some Sox quotes in the paper tomorrow, hopefully someone will find the balls to take a stand and not put their tails between their legs like our leader JM did during the game.
-
Who is the f** in the Orioles announcing booth who is still laughing about the foul call? perhaps the Sox should listen to this audio after the game. Unf***ing real, I'm still livid.
-
That was f***ing ridiculous. The ball was clearly fair and now I've gotta sit and listen to these b**** ass Orioles annoncers laugh about it. These umpires are a f***ing disgrace. Last night they had a horrid strike zone and now they can't even judge whether a ball is fair or foul. I rarely get fired up, but this was absolute bulls***. Someone in Camden should attack that ump for f***ing up big time.

One problem with your 2010 lineup. Buehrle will be long gone by then.
-
I tend to disagree, Glover is an average pitcher and yes, please do put your dick away before you hit Gary in the face with it.

Does anyone remember during that Weaver fight a few years ago when Mags was in the fray kicking at people....I don't know why I remembered that, but now that I do, it was funny as hell even though I don't remember him connecting.

This is the most irrelevant thread I have ever seen.

If you've got MLB Extra Innings, FSN Cleveland will have the game. Not as great as Hawk and DJ, but definitely better than nothing.

From TSN: Aaron Rowand is hitting .111 in his last six games, but don't expect the Sox to rush to call up Borchard. It's not that Borchard is slumping, too -- he hit .308 with seven RBIs in his first 10 Triple-A games. Rather, he will sit out a few games because of slight tendinitis in his wrist. Fantasy Spin: It won't be long before Borchard is hitting balls out of the stadium formerly known as Comiskey. This minor injury shouldn't seriously delay that debut. Let's hope this doesn't develop into anything serious and JB keeps crushing the ball.

The 2000 team won manager of the year.......Jerry was occupying the position at the time so he was awarded it. I couldn't agree more. The way we played that season, anyone could have been manager. Everything clicked on the field and IMO, it had nothing to do with what JM was doing as manager.
-
You raise an interesting point, however, there is one thing wrong with the point you make. For instance, take the LA Lakers. Before they got Phil at the helm, Kobe and Shaq didn't win a damn thing. You could argue that they underachieved greatly, but it took great leadership to get them to the next level. Although the Sox will probably never reach that level of success, it is a valid argument that a good manager is needed to be successful. If you want to blame only the players, then why do we even have a manager? It's not all Manuel's fault, but since we can't fire Carlos Lee, someone has to take the fall. Unfortunately for JM, it could mean his job.
-
I don't think he necessarily looks stoned. However, I do think he looks like he has a clueless look on his face like he doesn't know what the hell he's going to do next. Perhaps that's because he doesn't know what he's doing.
-
Yes, because if you take out the 2000 season, he has underachieved with good talent for the most part. IMO, we need someone with more passion for the game. Manuel has been given a fair shot and besides 2000, has really achieved nothing.

I met Borchard a few times last year here in Louisville, class act kid who goes out of his way to talk to the fans and sign autographs, they'll love him in Chicago, he's big time. Garland has looked good since the 1st inning thus far.
-
I predict if Lee keeps swinging the bat like this all month, we will see Borchard rather quickly.
-
Joe Randa should be beaned immediately by Garland tonight for acting like such a pussy. No one got hurt last night and he's being paid plenty of money to play baseball. There's plenty of other problems to worry about in the world today than whether or not Joe Randa feels safe playing 3rd base tonight. If they don't want to play, forfeit the damn game instead of pussying out and talking about their BS fears on ESPN Radio.

The piss ass Royals? They flat out beat our ass 4 times and their still a piss ass team? Then what are the White Sox? KC proved something to me tonight..... they're the team to beat in the AL Central and if the White Sox are lucky enough to be in playoff contention, it will be between KC, Minnesota, and us. Yes the piss ass Royals... Cleveland started 11-0 last season and where did they finish? No where. What have the Royals won lately, not a damn thing. Therefore, they are a piss ass team until they actually win something which won't happen this season. I hate how people are saying they're doing this without Beltran, yada yada yada. Give it 2 months and they are sub .500 while the Twins will have a lead in the division with the Sox not far behind.
-
I know one thing that will happen. Foulke will have a better year, mark my words. At least he blew games against respectable teams like the Yanks and Seattle, not the piss ass Royals.
-
Koch has blown 2 this year, Foulke has blown none. Can we say f***ed up trade? I think so. Get Marte in there as closer.

Josh is becoming a strikeout pitcher, granted this is against the woeful Tigers, hehe 6 K's for the big fella
