  1. Lol, don't feel bad as there are plenty here who say they are going to quit watching or that they are done with this team and pronto, like magic they are back here again cheering the White Sox on.
  2. I can see that viewpoint if the season is trash but there still is a lot of baseball to be played. I'm not saying the White Sox will all of a sudden turn the light switch on and go on a big run to make the playoffs but it is still possible, not probable of course but at least it is possible.
  3. Lol, thanks. It's becoming harder and harder even for me to find or say positive things about this team and this season. Since the overwhelming majority on here are deservingly right about the state of utterly miserable state of affairs with White Sox baseball in 2022 there ain't much to be positive about but I'm not throwing the towel in just yet. Perhaps in a couple of weeks I'll be joining the negativity club.
  4. Coming back to win the final two games of this series would be a welcome result and then let the chips fall where they may with the Twins.
  5. No way will I hope for the White Sox to lose, can't do it. Even with a long losing streak there is no guarantee that any firings will be forthcoming. I get it that fans are fed up with this team and they have every right to be but don't count me in as wanting the team to continue to lose.
  6. I hope it doesn't get any worse but it sure the heck ain't getting any better. You are right about the fans for sure but with that said, each one of us continues to show up every day and night to see if things might could change. There is a lot of I'm outa here and I'm thru with this team but yet we come back for more of the same. Sooner or later things will get better, hard to believe that now but it will happen.
  7. I hear ya, too bad those in charge of hiring and firing don't seem to agree.
  8. Your 1st sentence says it all as I believe you are exactly right, they have quit on TLR. Period.
  9. Hard to say what happens in these games today but despite the loss last night, I'm sill pulling for the White Sox to go at least 5-3 on this road trip. A win in this first game sure would be a nice achievement and with Crease going in then 2nd game, gotta like the chances for a win there too. With that said, I won't be a bit surprised to see them lose both games, ugh!!
  10. I'm looking for the White Sox to finally make some noise in these very important next 8 games. I think they go 5-3 or 6-2 and come out smokin hot after the All-Star break. I realize that's going out on a limb but despite all the injuries, mistakes, weak defensive play and head scratching decisions by TLR, this team somehow is still withing striking distance of winning the Central. Come on Chicago, show the rest of the baseball world you can still get the job done after being written off already by many.
  11. Agree. With that said however, I haven't seen enough positive play from this team to think they would be only 2 or 3 games out by the All Star game. While I don't think they will be 10 games out either, I just believe that if fans can see this disorganized and feeble effort the White Sox put on the field then those in charge won't keep the blinders on much longer. Only time will tell.
  12. I think you may be on to something there. While it is unlikely TLR would be fired during the break (though stranger things have happened) I do think there will be some major changes take place at that time. This miserable season may not be saved but at least we can hope that the powers to be will finally start to use some common sense. Of course, that's askinng a lot from this head scratching lot of upper management.
  13. Okay White Sox let's make it 2 wins in a row!!!!
  14. Way to go White Sox now keep heading in the right direction. Johnny Cueto with an outstanding performance today, no doubt about it.
  15. Things look bleak for the White Sox at the moment but just when it seems like they are down for the count, they get back up and land a big blow. Will that be today, maybe, maybe not. Most of us here will still be cheering for a win. It's going to take a lot of wins to get back in the race but stranger things have happened so I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. Come on Chicago, climb out of this quicksand pit and get things rolling in the right direction.
  16. Another tough loss last night as a head scratching bottom of the 9th inning turns a golden opportunity into a disgusting disgrace. This team is hopelessly lost in the twilight zone, occasionally providing a glimmer of light followed up by several dismal nightmare games. Of course, with that said, the overwhelming majority of us fans will be here once again, lol, mainly to voice our displeasure with the current state of White Sox affairs. It's not too late however to somehow right the ship, get the train back on track and blast off with a long winning streak. Of course, it certainly ain't likely and in fact, more predictably they will flounder around the .500 mark for another few weeks before throwing in the towel.
  17. And there you have it, proved once again.
  18. That's their modus operandi, White Sox always seem to claw their way to a tie or a short lead and then promptly, very promptly, let the other team come right back to score runs.
