No kidding!!! Just like clockwork this team struggles to tie a game up or take a lead and then PRONTO, they give the lead back in the next inning. Pitiful.

Good call indeed!!!

Lol, of course that won't happen but it sounds good doesn't it? Every day we seem to see the same ole feeble effort by this team. It's my opinion that this White Sox team has quit on TLR. Sure there are a few wins thrown in but in the overwhelming majority of the losses, there are way too many mistakes and lack of judgement on plays that even a high school team could make. I may be way off base but I honestly believe that a new manager could turn this nightmarish season around quickly. That's what I think and I'm sticking to it, the players do not want to play for Mr. Tony.

Come on White Sox, at least win today to avoid the sweep and stay in the hunt for at least a while longer if you can.

Hard to argue against all you said, looks like the rest of the season will be more of the same. I certainly hope not but as you said, not sure how the White Sox can get things turned around at this pace.

GT 7/5: MIN @ SOX, The day after
whitesoxwin replied to CentralChamps21's topic in 2022 Season in Review
Another extremely disappointing loss last night, there's no doubt about it. This team had shown some promise and gained momentum with the road trip and the sweep of the Giants but once again resort to making dumb and illogical mistakes on the field which lead to another demoralizing result. Just when you think you've seen it all with this team, they promptly show us just how wrong we are. A history making triple play takes center stage and continues to add to this miserable White Sox season with very few postive things to be said about this team. Is the season lost? No, not yet but it's getting near impossible to expect Chicago to turn things around and make a serious run the rest of the way. While I will continue to support the team and hope for the best, it's becoming clear that this team is probably more closer to imploding then they are contending. -

Well said, as much as I keep hoping they turn things around, I too believe they are done. -

Another game this evening, another probable fiasco of an effort by this floundering White Sox team. Nothing seems to be going right or working for Chicago this season and the margain of error is getting slimmer as each game is played. Talk of TLR being fired will be the main chatter once again on the game thread with numerous chit chat about the pitiful play of our White Sox players. Same old story once again I'm afraid. With all that said, I'll be here once again rooting for them to somehow get this season turned around. It's possible that they can get their fire lit and start a run to the top but reality says other wise. Come on gang, see if a win tonight can jumpstart a nice winning streak. -
Each game presents it's own recurring set of problems for the White Sox and that seems very likely to continue. Who would have thought before this series with the Orioles that the White Sox would be struggling to win just one game. Heck, many of us thought Chicago would take at least 3 out of 4. How wrong we were as they are now one game away from being swept, talk about a huge demoralizing 4 game set, sheesh. I honestly believe this team has quit on TLR, plain and simple. There is absolutely no excuse for what we as fans have seen on the field this season and especially in this series. Once again, I'm not giving up on the team but I'm definitely not very hopeful that things will get any better the rest of the season.

Just a couple of days ago we were hoping for the White Sox to take 3 of 4 from the Orioles. After two colossal failures, the reality now is that it's going to be a huge struggle just to get one win, much less break even. Just when you think things can't get any worse, they show you that yes, it can. -
SOX GT 6/24 - BEGINNING OF A 3 GAME WIN STREAK

Ugh, another total disaster this was. The White Sox can do nothing right these days so the question is, how long will this train wreck continue? My guess is after the All-Star break the team goes on a fairly nice winning streak and then when things are looking promising, they revert back to playing pitiful and pathetic the rest of the season. My hope however is that starting today, the White Sox begin the road back to the top of the Central. Not likely but at least possible. -

I sure hope you are right about the start of a 3 game winning streak but after last night's pitiful debacle it's clear that the White Sox are going to have a hard time even splitting the series. Fans will continue to cuss and complain and voice their displeasure and be angry about Chicago's pathetic showing this season but without some major changes forthcoming it's going to be more of the same if you ask me. How can a team with so much promise and talent go out on the field and play so inconsistent and incompetent baseball? Yes, a new manager would be a start but at some point the White Sox players have to be held accountable for their part so far in this season's performance and results. Upper management has failed as well and definitely has their share of blame to own. With all that said, I don't have the answers to what needs to be fixed but I'll continue to support the team like always but with much lower expectations going forward. I've certainly not given up completely on the season but so far there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of positives or promise that the White Sox can start clicking on all cylinders and turn this mediocre mess into a winner. -

Looking for the White Sox to start a winning streak tonight. Getting Anderson back is huge, hopefully the bats stay hot and Lynn pitches a solid game.
