  1. QUOTE(mreye @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 10:18 AM) Bride Blazing Saddles or Histroy of the World Part 1? Saddles. Airplane or Naked Gun
  2. I think Simon would kill himself if he had to sit through an entire hour of showtunes, so I don't expect that. Heck, I would skip that episode and not even watch the results show if I had to deal with even a 20 second clip of a showtune.
  3. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 09:27 AM) Rubber Soul -- IF the UK Parlaphone release with the Yesterday and Today tracks included. Rodan or King Gidorah? King. Frankenstein or Bride of Frankenstein
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 08:00 AM) Poison Paul or John? Paul. Conan O'Brien or Conan The Barbarian?
  5. VH1 (I can't relate at all to MTV anymore) Water or Propel?
  6. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 07:56 PM) I agree that country will not be a problem for Chris this week. He'll find something up tempo like Garth and do it well. I'm not much of a country guy (okay, I really hate it) so I don't know of specific songs, but I can see him doing well. Could this week be a problem for Mandisa or Paris? Paris. Mandisa could sing a McDonalds menu and make it sound good. She will have a contract and a following, and a long life in the business.
  7. QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 07:52 PM) Ohhhh, that's right.....the other guy who cares.... Except that he is showing the modern, crap, version of the Emperor. The TRUE Emperor, the one made by the real original Epiphone company (before Gibson bought them out and drove the once respectable company into the ground). The one I mention is this: This guitar was made to to battle with the Gibby Super 400. It's larger than the Gibby even. The one shown above (in Jim's post) is actually the Emperor II, the Joe Pass model. It's actually quite small for a Jazz box. Fullers ESB. Beer or wine?
  8. Heh...heh...stalemate.
  9. Pepys, John "Stumpy" (1943-1969) Epiphone Emperor (the true classic version) or Gibson Super 400? (have fun with that one)
  10. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) starburst KFC or Popeyes Popeyes. Beef Brisket or Pulled Pork?
  11. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Veronica Presley or Costello? Presley. Dammit. Jelly Belly or Starburst.
  12. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 03:22 PM) D'oh! Oops? I've also yet to tame the Beast, if that is any consolation. Not likely, I know. I think I need an addy again, as I think the wife tossed yer box in a cleaning fit. No consolation needed. Just giving ya a hard time for a second there. I'll PM ya an address again if you are still feeling charitable.
  13. Yeah? Did you drink a Sam Adams Triple Bock whilst there by any chance?
  14. QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 03:16 PM) king cadbury eggs or peeps? Peeps. Jelly Belly or Starburst?
  15. An event I look forward to every year. Just a heads up for any that might be interested. http://durtynellies.com/beerfest2006.html
  16. It's not SLaP anymore though, it's SLaM. Sheesh, get with the times man.
  17. I love this stuff. http://www.wernersplace.com/uselessfacts.htm
  18. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 12:47 PM) Wow. Tommy's got his hands full, since he'll be touring with Soul Asylum as Karl's, well, replacement isn't the word I'm looking for, I guess, and now this? You're right, though, Kid. I don't think Mars will tour. Plus if GnR ever comes out. Though the rumour there is that the original GnR is back together...well, Slash, Duff and Sorum with Axl. But it is still speculation on things that have been said by Slash and Ian Astbury from The Cult.

    Ice Cream

QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 12:22 PM) i like the cold kind. I also like vegan ice cream. So, do you just bust open a bag of Green Giant broccoli and act like it's ice cream???
  20. Grandpaboy was actually a pretty dang strong Westerberg outing. I'm not a solo Paul fan at all, but that one had many signs of Mats brilliance on it. But then again, rumour was that Stinson helped him with it. Jim...small steps man, small steps. It's going to take A LOT to get Mars playing ever again. He's the holdout. Tommy would do it in a second. But Chris wants none of it again. From what I have heard, if he could have the memories even removed he would. But I know Paul has been talking to him off and on over the past few years, so maybe there is some give going on with him.

    Ice Cream

QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 11:41 AM) Oh good Lord... I feel like heading home for a few miles on the treadmill after just looking at that. LOL! I actually thought similar. That looks insane. Well, I have a $10 gift card so I will be trying it soon. But somebody told me that might get me a single scoop.

    Ice Cream

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) I go with the Bunny Tracks myself. It's a little bit cheaper and tastes the exact same. If I have soft serve I like to go with the chocolate ice cream dipped in chocolate combo. Anyone ever have Cold Stone Creamery? That place is a little expensive but their ice cream is awesome. I have a gift card for the place, but still have not gone. There isn't one by me. That seems a bit extreme. It's ice cream. What, do they poop in it first or something?
  24. I hate the bootleg Calvin stickers. Anybody with one of those deserves the tickets that they might get.
