If you listened to the rest of Inside the Clubhouse though they talked at length about how the Sox arent signing anyone that is gonna be a 3 year impact or a guy you establish as a core guy. Even in the Levine phrasing itself, wishfully everyone is ignoring the part where he says he's 'heard a little talk about__' I think to get its own thread something like this should at its core have an actual reported rumor, and this doesnt even have that.

The Sox will not sign Murakami but i imagine his situation is holding up some of the 1B market. Maybe O'Hearn signs with whoever is 2nd place on Murakami.
