If Rauch gets the 5th spot it would actually be hurting him, he'll be pitching more out of the bullpen then as a starter. Rauch needs to pitch every 5th day, so let him get ready in AAA and come June bring him up and if he pitches well keep him up. Like Rex said there's no need to rush him.

I like Koch as the closer, Marte still needs to show he can repeat last season. Plus Koch is the more experienced out of the two and that could be a big factor down the road.

No i've never been over there, but i happen to know a lot about the weapons they have. NK has 500-600 Scud-C and Scud-B missiles, each of them has a range of 300-700 km, they can fill those missiles with chem and bio weapons. If even 200 of out the 600 were launched they'd be able to kill over a million South Koreans, there a lot more advanced then you think.

It might be all for the best to let Rauch start in AAA. The Sox's won't use there 5th starter that much at the start of the season, might as well keep Rauch fresh and prepare him to join the staff around the All-Star game (if he's doing well in AAA).

Giles said he wouldn't accept a trade to the Sox's (that was last year), maybe he would change his mind this year. I think Rauch, Carlos, Rowand and Diaz would get the job done (maybe not, probably not), but that's giving up a lot.

Not even the YANKEES would take on his contract, i still can't believe he's gonna make over 30 mil in some of those season.
