  1. He is right, though. What would getting MORE starting pitching right now accomplish? You can't add another team for them to pitch on.
  2. There is enough to worry about the with the Sox now. I'm not going to worry about a guy who might debut for another team in 6 years. Hope they can flip this guy at the deadline for something better.
  3. I think he means the Sox think they'll be able to trade Booser at a later date for something better than Fajardo.
  4. Maybe Cleveland’s buffet budget was out of control with him around.
  5. Naylor to the Diamondbacks. Later, tubbo.
  6. He is a relief pitcher. It can take like two adjustments and then all of a sudden they are effective.
  7. Sat out for four years. Not a lot of miles on the arm.
  8. I understand that, but he was saying the Sox making changes all of the time. Which, isn't true. They very rarely make changes. And, at least with this change it does seem like some larger organizational things are happening. Whether or not they are for the better remains to be seen.
  9. We have? I always thought the argument was that Jerry is too loyal and never changes anything.
  10. Made his MLB debut last year at 32 but put up .8 WAR which is probably better than any Sox reliever last year?
  11. It seems like they are actually making a push at least. I know, I know "seat at the table" but it's still nice to see.
  12. Isn't the rumor that both times involved one of the owners of the team being good friends with him and is also a garbage human?
  13. According to Bruce, the Cubs had a presentation today. Is that why they let Sammy back in? Does Roki really like High Heat Baseball?
  14. I clicked the live stream. It had 109 people watching. I really don’t know how this company is even in business at all.
  15. So why is this company paying Cole Kmet to bring absolutely nothing to the table? Bet they are paying him more than the many people they just laid off through various cities. This is a piece of crap company with a horrible business model.
  16. It was also across different cities. The Phillies one lost a person, too. Is that from being a bad team?
  17. CHGO is neither a major publication or newspaper and both of those things got rid of Sox beat reporters when they were being somewhat successful. This is just another tale in the long line of “company gets VC money but has no idea how to run a company.”
  18. Does he have more than one year control?
  19. With a running start.
  20. Yes he is. Would it be JR's fault if you started a blog or a podcast that didn't work out? And then their awful owner laid off people a week before Christmas and then had the balls to go on Twitter and say "they are paid through January so no one will need to worry about money through the holidays" in the most tone deaf messaging possible.
  21. f*** that guy for blaming the Sox for it. They also laid off a Bears guy and people in their Denver office. A week before Christmas.
  22. Quero has barely played in AAA and Teel has only played 28 games in AAA and was in rookie ball in 2023, so I hope not. Zero reason to rush these guys for the opening day roster.
  23. They need two catchers to start the year.
  24. Not that I believe that’s a real rumor, but looks like he plays a good amount of RF, and I assume he’d play there while Tauchman plays CF
