  1. my problem is, if she is guilty of lying, what is the mother trying to do??? that was a plain plan of deceiving everyone.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:54 PM) What do you mean here? figure it out yourself. i am done
  3. ok, i am now owning up to my opinion. i tried really hard to maintain that sentence of innocent until proven guilty..... most of the time i was successful. but somettime i let my thoughts of the day take over. where there is smoke there is fire. that was i was convince on and that Kane was in some way guilty or something. well i am really wrong and it appears that he is really, realy in a huge way, may be innocents. i am also glad the Hawks rolled the dice with him and stuck by him, thru all this. good job on the hawks. Kane is or many will say he is guilty of being a partier, but is that a crime. so i was wrong and i am happy to admit it on kane. go hawks.
  4. there is a word that comes to mind. i was watching the interview on CSN... the word is culpability ...... what is next.
  5. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:42 PM) He did it because the mother made up a story about the "bag" being dropped off at her house when she had it all along. The DA is pissed because the report made his office sound incompetent and that's just not true. ok we now know that. i thought something was said or something. many thanks.
  6. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:35 PM) Someone making fraudulent claims about someone isnt trouble following them around though. Should he just never leave his house now because trouble might be following him? He hasnt gotten in any trouble in 5 years... semantics ..... being real petty here.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 04:33 PM) It sounds like he is the only competent person in the entire Buffalo area dang it, what happen to cause him to do this/
  8. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 04:16 PM) Id say its looking more and more like he didnt do anything wrong and he isnt going to get in trouble. So what exactly is the problem? He went out with friends, didnt drive drunk, and for all we know he didnt hurt anyone. This was all during the offseason as well. So far they have no DNA implying rape, the accusers family has more or less been caught fabricating evidence somehow leading to their lawyer to quit and now the accusers friends/witnesses dont want to testify. Unless something changes why the hell should the Hakws or Kane have to do anything? lets not try to split hairs in a statement to or for an statement you want to make. i am not saying he was guilty, all i said, trouble followed him. he did everything possible in the realms of being a young man with raging hormones and a situation where a girl with a hidden agenda, if that is the case, by all accounts, was maneuvered into this situation. hence, i said he is a magnet. why couldn't something like this happen to someone else???
  9. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 02:34 PM) @JulieDiCaro Source says rape kit exam of Kane accuser was cut short because of problems with equipment. Could explain lack of DNA.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:18 PM) It started for the best when the drafted Kane and Toews back to back years. lets say we disagree. i will say it started with a gm and then the hiring of Q and chg of gm again. of course great drafting. but that is after the foundation was in place. now i need to back track on $$ Bill. remember he never had a crime including any driving violations. he had a driver. next all the great stuff he did for fans that never came out. stuff that many never knew who he was during the hawks games. he was a walking PR person himself, and he never told the person who he was when he was talking to them .....
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 02:22 PM) Thank you. great find.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 02:08 PM) Let's be honest. The Blackhawks are where they are today because they completely sucked for a very long time. wow...... i really don't know about that. granted sucking for a long time, really made everyone in the org wanting to make changes. however it all happen when the owner passed. i hate to say or bring that up, am i being insensitive to his memory and to the family. that is what i am trying not to do. but lets be honest, it started for the best with rocky took over, got rid of the good ole boy network. no more the idea of having a GM whose only job was to go out with the owner for a liquid lunch stay for a liquid dinner.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 01:56 PM) And two of those guys were the first and third picks overall. The one time the White Sox got the third pick, they got a guy who has superstar potential and is already on this team. good post but you missed an important part. without this, the sox will look for another player at #3. they had a change in the ideas of making it work and the salary cap. dealing with his adviser who later became his agent. 3yrs ago, that would not have happen.
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 01:46 PM) His friends are morons, which is part of if not a huge part of the problem. You have to understand the types of people that come from that area. i don't buy that. reason is he is a young dude, and have friends if they were not his friends from teenage yrs but recent friends. then they are hangoners. those who kiss arse and just like to be part of the posse. but if they are true friends, they are having a wild time, like most single young males with money to burn. but look that it from this way. he was being responsible in some way. no drinking and driving. he has someone else doing the driving. remember i am not against or for anyone here, i will post something later, i am looking at one part of this. his violation of any other possible crime.
  15. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 02:41 PM) The Hawks have 3 of the 12 or so best players in the NHL. That has more to do with their success than anything Rocky Wirtz or John McDonough has done. It comes down to talent. It always does. The White Sox don't currently have the young hitters that other teams have. They have tremendous young pitching though with more on the way. i disagree with this b/c of one important thing. getting an owner who wants to win, to make the hard decision to take talent in the FO than of loyalty to the person. lastly, insist on getting the quality players for the roster and they go out, make another hard decision and fire a great hawk idol and hire a great coach. this all comes from the owner. now for the sox, the changes need to come from a huge change in philosophy and screw the loyalty of those homers that can't do their job.
  16. Kane is a walking magnet of stupidity following him. let take a look, he was going out and drink with friends. he had a chauffeur, so he would not be involve in any drinking and driving violation. yet he gets in trouble. its not that he has to grow up, but he really have to think of his pirioties in life. if he has a problem with alcohol, he may get that work on, and not publicly ..... this whole thing, regardless of how it goes, will be a eye opener for him.
  17. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:06 AM) Scott Levin ‏@ScottLevinWGRZ 3m3 minutes ago #PatrickKane accuser says she has, "every intention of continuing the case to a just conclusion." @WGRZ my comment is not against you. ref the lady ..... what else can she say. she is too far into this to step back or let it drop.
  18. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:25 AM) Innings 1-3: .285/.346/.509 Innings 4-6: .332/.379/.608 Innings 7-9: .252/.304/.387 Looks like you're right. excellent research.... how does that relate to other games and most important, to the beginning of the yr.
  19. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 03:01 AM) Only those who think of trading them. Smarj IMO does not have any impressive stats yet he would be expensive for the production you would get out of him. The Cubs didn't feel that way either. i think that ship has past a long time ago. i think back to before the ASG.
  20. QUOTE (captain54 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 02:49 AM) There were improvements that needed to be made after the 2012 season, for instance. "How did we blow a 3 game lead with 2weeks to play". " how can we fix it"? Instead the Sox proceeded to have one of the worst seasons in modern history. The numbers don't lie. 67 games BELOW AVERAGE #1. since late 2012. Think about it. That's a lot games to make up over 3 yrs to be even mediocre. If the Sox FO were serious about turning things around, #2 we would see a makeover ala Chicago Blackhawks. A fan favorite loyal member of that organization (Savard) was let go in favor of a bonafide solid hockey man. The status quo wasn't working One more thing. If it would have been me, #3 I would have launched both KW and Ozzie late in the 2011 for carrying on how they did and turning this franchise into a children's playground and laughingstock. And Cooper would have been launched this year for chiding the fans on attendance. In essence, insulting the paying customer So go for it. Have faith in an organization that is attempting to turn things around with the same rum dums that produced a 67 game under .500 record over the last three years ref the bold #1 . the 3 yr plan.... shouldn't the 3 plan start then or the following yr. is it management ambition to make the fans look silly in hopes of believe the BS they spew out..... btw, isn't it time for the monthly KW pep talk on the team doings. #2. wait, lets talk about something that the owners can relate to. with the present management team, the sox will continue to loose regardless of any on the improvement the FO does. the owners expects the fans to really trust the present management by spending money..... to buy tickets. manipulation is something the owner should realize that the fans will not buy the bs. the fans can see the lies b/c i find it hard to imagine if the FO is this dump. sacrificing wins and titles for the sake of making money. #3. wake up and smell the coffee, the loyalty ..... but not to the fans. all this for the almighty dollar.
  21. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Sep 24, 2015 -> 11:24 PM) The fact Robin is still managing blows my mind. Name one other manager that has kept their job with that type of performance over a three year period when their organization is "going to compete" for the playoffs. The Sox don't have a roster full of crap. Sure, there is mostly mediocre to average players, but clearly there's a pattern of players vastly underperforming here once they get here. In my mind that points to the coaching staff being unable to get them to perform at the level of their career norms. Hell, look at how awful the Sox have looked the last few years coming out of Spring Training compared to other teams during the first week of the season. This team wiffs at the fundamentals of baseball. And there's a lot to blame on the FO too. I give Hahn a pass for the most part, because I can't see him being fully in charge of the decision making while still living in KW's shadow. JR's undying loyalty and KW's stubbornness have slowly killed this franchise and produced the on-field product we have suffer through watching night in and night out. I don't see a massive amount of changes until JR kicks the bucket. you make a convincing argument, ref the bold, i totally agree 100 %.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 01:55 AM) I'm ok with his first year, I'll buy he has promise and is young, but I will counter that to turn him into a "decent baseball player" you've got a lot of work to do. If you play him next year and he hits .230 you can't be surprised. You can't call him hitting .230 next year a "missed opportunity". i will give you that.... it is too good of a statement. but lets and again think of this, lets think that it can be the start of a good group that fell into their lap. this is a good wasted opportunity to continue to build on. that is, what 6 or 7 young players that this team has under control. now add the players who are in the last of their contracts and those acquired thru fa's. so here is more of the point. i am not adding the variables needed to clear this up. but here it is. the sox have jose, - 1b sanchez, - 2b alexei - ss mekly, eaton, avi, flowers, adam sp's sale q, rodon, danks. i will not go into the rp's so now many pieces are needed to improve what is needed. granted, Adam will be there and nothing can be done of that.
  23. QUOTE (LDF @ Sep 24, 2015 -> 12:45 AM) quite wise grass hopper. but joking aside, i just read 6 pages of what i missed. the biggest thing i can think of, he now brings the momentum back on the victim side. the next thing is to let the officials do their work to see if it is the bag or not. on a side note, if it is the part of the same pkg ...... now comes the realm of the possibilities. in other word, some can call into question the actual dna testing or the integrity of the final results. here is a question. what would you do if you were the hawks FO and the official statement is that it part of the official pkg???? do you still stand by your player??? or do you ask the league to step in and suspend Kane per CBA Article 18-A.5 ????? the integrity is and will be proven just by the lawyer quiting. this really put this in a whole new light.
  24. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 25, 2015 -> 01:29 AM) Since June 19, basically excluding his first month, Sanchez has hit a whopping .263 with a .697 OPS. You're right, if those numbers are the best he can do, it is offensive to lump him in with Rodon. well, he is still in his first yr. a good promising start. now compare him to the avg 2b in the league. the starting 2b men. btw, in the bold, i will always give comp for creativity, nice play on words. real subtle snarkiness. i like it.
  25. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 24, 2015 -> 11:08 PM) To prove that they do have all the evidence and it's properly taken care of and stored. And prove still that Kane did not do this. that is the only answer.
