Waves Ticket Manager Needs 1,500 Friends. have you heard of this.............. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/minor...30721waves.html
  4. ok i am going to listen to you guy for a while but so help me if you start sounding like chimp i am going.
  5. in seeing him sometime he seems to forget what a razor is for in the first place. but seriously, if kw did this and th sox players did the shaving, for as much i dislike the bozo, i have to give him credit for his attempt to bring this team together. way to go kw.
  6. Remember it was ARod's contract started his whole "hold out" over the DSC, so to Frank it really does matter what everyone else is making. Sometimes as you get older, you get wiser and have a better understanding of what is important. Perhaps Frank will begin to see that his legacy is with the White Sox and it would be more important for him to end his career there than leave for a couple extra million. Hopefully he can find a way to live on $6mil or so. i hope you are right. when all this blew up, frank was gong thru some ruf times. i hope he see that the sox management kept faith with him and i hope that he will remember that.
  7. Rob Bell: Pitching & Defense The Rangers never saw Bell's heralded 12-to-6 curveball for more than a few pitches at a time. The inconsistency of the curve essentially reduced him to a fastball-only pitcher, as his changeup did not have enough separation from the fastball to be effective. Without a good curveball and changeup, Bell struggled against lefties. He also built up high pitch counts early in games, forcing the bullpen into play. Teams ran against Bell because of a high leg kick, but he didn't make an error in 23 chances nothing for porzio.
  8. Remember it was ARod's contract started his whole "hold out" over the DSC, so to Frank it really does matter what everyone else is making. yes and he acted up in spring training the same yr he got hurt. do you remember when he refuse to do what jm wanted him to do in an exercise. kw and or jr had to come in and played peace maker.
  9. non baseball reply old style is the best................. yesssss put that on the board.
  10. do you remember the old jinx that is called sophmore slump? maybe that is what is happening
  11. but will frank want to at a certain price or would he want some sort of a raise? remember vlad is coming out as a fa and if he goes for big $$$$ , frank may want some of that cash as well.
  12. i say he should do it if we win the division Nah, that would be too much like him and too obtuse. It's in playing to the spontenaity(sp?) of the streak and in the togetherness of the team/org as the other locks fall that would make it even worthwhile doing. then give us an idea when the time may be a good time.
  13. hard to say..... with Anderson down and Sweeney not playing the last couple of nights, who knows.... one would think they might push Nanita... I believe Purvis is going to move into the Winston rotation to get some regular work. Wylie could be in position to move up soon. He seems to be getting back to where he was and he is now off pitch counts. Threw 112 last night, coming one out from a complete game. the way nanita been hitting, i would think that they would take a chance on him first and see if he can handle the move. i think he just might be able to. wow where did guy come from and why did he last soooooo long in the draft.
  14. man i am for him winning and hope he does......................... that is all i am going to say, who is going against him?

sager is one player i was following from the draft. yeah he has some bad luck when it comes to injuries. for me, he still has starting material stuff, if he could ever stay healty. which i surely hope so.
  20. MSF, i just don't think that Everett was a necessary piece to the puzzle. Yes, he has contributed, but who is to say that someone else would not have? I may be wrong and if I am then great, that means the Sox are winning and he is contributing. I just think that Alomar was the only necessary move and that the Sox would have won without him. We'll never really know, but you gotta give me some credit for sticking to my guns on this one. I have had the same stance since the night of the trade and will keep it until I have to admit I was wrong, which, when the time is right, I will if necessary. And at least give me a little credit for the bag of balls, case of old style and vienna beef hot dogs line. That was pretty creative, don't ya think? LOL in discussing this with 2 of the people who in my opinion i respect a lot when it comes to prospects, i feel as i am in dangerous grounds. but still my opinion is with rex on this. the everett trade imo was really one that was not necessary. and like him until i see his contribuation out weigh the lose of the prospect. so what will be the tell tale sign, i don't know but i will say it so, at for me. maybe an obvious major contribuation(offense). btw rex i like the old style bit. i laugh so hard on that one point.

dare we venture another trade with LA esp with the berry/berry trade soooo engrain in out memory. Odalis Perez is in the major s***ter and is not the flavor of the month with his players and management. to boot it is affecting his pitching. it appears that some personal prob is affecting his attitude. is he another clayton in the making or could chg of places can do the job, but then again didn't they say the same thing with clayton. i main point is i wouldn't mind the possibility of getting him for us. but at what cost and what is the real reason that he is having problems in la.
  22. i say he should do it if we win the division

i have been thinking about the levine kid, but as in a trade. he is a real decent long relief pitcher, tpa is in need of some cash, and we need a rp. the word according to espn and ba is that tpa will not sign their first rounder due to lack of money, nor any other picks that is with out reason. oh if they would accept a mid level pitching prospect/cash 1 mil for levine and (somehow figure a way to talk to thier 3 round pick a miller and sign him. )

yeah he was a classy guy, i just thought he might be wash up b/c of injuries.
