well lance is still in the lead, inspite of some very questionable fans interference. i will point blank these french fans call them cheaters. in one race a fan swung their purse/knapsack into lance causing to him fall and get bruise. this really could've really hurt him. i think in anothe a fan ran across the path causing lance to verred off the course. the great thing was all the other riders saw this ans stop and waited unitl lance was able to get on and start riding again. very classy by the other riders. lastly or should i say the first thing done was a group of fan cause a delay not only lance but other riders were invovle including the rider in which the fans were trying to help. this was from the bbc interview. i hope he does well in what is his strongest, the time trials.

i really don't think the sox will make another trade except for colon. but lets say we are in the race, getting 2 players who can help us now for let say colon to me is not giviing up the race. we all have bitter memories on the white flag trade that i think jr will not allow that to happen again. all the thoughts are base on who we get in return, us fans are not as dumb and can see things thru lies.

my 2 cents, i am not an expert for our minor leagues, but i can see what may be talent. even tho i always like the mets trade, i hated the tx trade. giving up webster, in spite of reed, should have never been in the list, let alone 3 players. getting rupe with webster is a major steal for tx. their should have been no way in hell we should have give up 2 quality prospect for a player who is going to be a rent a player. if everett comes on and help wins the series, then i might add that the trade was worth it. another angle to look at it is if we get 2 picks for him and then i will say the trade may have been a good one.

you may very be right and i am wrong on this. here is how i saw it, williams wasn not listening to the coaches but wanted to do it his way, furhter extending his production, he went to the mound with a different mind set than that of his coaches or his catcher when he finally started to pay attention and work on what is needed he flew thru the minors, however he does sometimes revert to his knowledge more than what was taught to him. all this i got from different chats, concerning the gaints on williams. so as i said this was my interpretation and my opinion, and i could be wrong. He could have been like that in the minors and changed I guess but since I have watched him in the majors he seems like a nice person. BTW I wasn't tring to critize you just stating my oppionion on the situtation i wasn't angry and i accepted your opinion as i hope you will accept mine. btw, i heard the clayton could be a nice guy when he wanted too, and look at him, he was an asshole in the clubhouse. just wanted to point this out.

you should say if and when or for that if he will ever regain his form. but hos will he that, by game situation and again, every game is important to us. we can't let him take the mound in close games.

and adding my 2 cents here we can't take the chance of experiementing with botch getting his chance to get better when the game is close or on the line. every game is now counting.

i am tired of waiting, i am tired of constantly hearing about rebuilding. if getting ponson, giles and kendall will get up the series, then so be it, get it done. if it means getting rid of 2 nd teir prospect and rauch and cotts and webster, so what. do it. i am for putting the product on the field now. f*** the "let wait till next yr" bs statment. we are close to winning and we need a few more players go and get them.

rex its not just one source but as i said in the orginal. a rumor that is not going away. the time/cbs/espn have all said if the sox fold they may trade colon. however the espn went further and mention the sfo was still trying pursue the trade. the sport talk radio out sfo way has been talking about the idea of getting colon regardless of the sox being in the race or not. my thought were is why is it still being talked about, why haven't management came out and said no way in hell or something to that effect. but that being said if true can we fleece sfo out of some of there top prospects? who would we get or something to that effect.
