I really wish Robert Jr. could figure it out. He's great except with the bat. He still has power, but he seems to have lost the ability to hit generally.

Was concerned about another squander, but Taylor came through. I like what I see with Montgomery so far. He's got a really nice stance and swing, and it looks like he might be a + SS.

Actually, from a baseball perspective, I don't think Meidroth gets to that ball. I haven't seen that kind of range out of him. And nothing wrong with being height impaired. Our best keystone combo ever were not tall, as were many excellent/HOF infielders

I thought someone would have joked it was obvious since Meidroth is about 2 feet shorter.

Montgomery looking good on two routine plays so far. That's saying something with this team.

Vargas's lead off double squandered. Why he didn't make it a triple, I dunno. Unless it's the thin air. But it would be 1-0 if he had.

Vargas absolutely sucks fielding 3rd. He was leading the majors in errors at that position before they moved him. He couldn't even make the throw consistently.

Too bad because Vargas can't play 3rd either. He's gotta be at first. Capra's gone. Who's on third? What's on second and I dunno the rest...
