  3. Everything vintage isn't working so far.
  4. So whats Castro up to with the Rangers? He's only pitched a few innings.
  5. 1st and 3rd 2 out for Dye. Comon Dye come through again.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 07:45 PM) No one on base. AJ will probably get on. Base hit for AJ.
  7. This place is dead... 1-2 on Michael Young.
  8. Wouldn't it be better for Dye to be batting 3rd?
  9. Comon JG step it up and pitch like you're capable of pitching. We need you today JG, shut em down.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 10:24 PM) Why do you have to support a sucky pitcher? I understand that he was pretty good last year and all. He played a large part in a WS championship but if he's going to suck most every start this year, I'm not going to back a loser. No one is saying you have to, but it would be nice if he didn't come home to be booed when his name is called then for the same people who were booing him to cheer for him when he gets back on track. I am not saying he will be 8-0 when he does pitch better, but you can at least count on his career numbers which I would gladly take for a fifth starter.
  11. So I guess its good to have absolutely no faith in Garland. Yeah he has sucked a lot, but you gotta support him even if he is facing a team like the Rangers.
  12. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 10:03 PM) I fully expect Garland to give up 7 or more runs in his start. Hopefully the offense will be able to flat out outscore Texas in that game. I like how you're rooting for your team there.
  13. Everyone has different opinions, but one thing you must do is make sure it will meet your needs or something that will surpass your needs. For example make sure you get something with a lot of memory and good speed. Heres a link to pcworld.com. They do a lot of comparisons and ratings on lots of electronics. This one is for laptops. Check it out, they do some pretty good evaluations. http://pcworld.com/resource/infocenter/0,c...Laptops,00.asp#
  14. You can't say this team isn't showing any heart right now. Before it was a new hero everyday, now theres a new culprit everyday. They just need to get some confidence and playing like they should be. This series with the Rangers I fully expect them to come together better and play solid defense with good pitching and hitting. They know improving vs the Rangers is a must and the Tiger series is going to be huge with the way their playing. Like people have been mentioning, we are not in a horrible spot and we are lucky to be playing like s*** and still have a good record.
  15. and Farnsy blows another one... god I hate that guy.
  16. I agree and I have had one of Deps WS celebration wallpapers since last season and I haven't changed it because we were doing good...definitley not anymore so im gonna have to let it go. Hoping for some better baseball by our sox with the new wallpaper.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:14 PM) Even in today's loss we got to witness greatness from a White Sox player. You'd figure a guy with the resume of a Jermaine Dye would get a little more recognition for the season he's currently having. He's currently having the best season of any AL OF. He's played in only 44 games this year, the team has played 54 games. That's right, he's missed 10 games this year which makes what he's doing that much more special. In 144 ABs he's hit 16 HRs and driven in 41 runs and scoring 29 times. He ranks amongst current AL OFs: HR: T1st RBI: 4th (behind Vlad (45), Wells (43) and Swisher (42)) His OPS currently stands at 1.074 which is by far the best amongst AL OF, 2nd best is Alex Rios at 1.041. That OPS is also 2nd best in the AL behind Jim Thome who currently stands at 1.098. His SLG% of .675 is the best in the AL, 2nd best is .661 by teammate Jim Thome. The guy is playing above average defense with a cannon for an arm, holding runners to 1 base and eliminating the extra base. Oh yeah, all this while making only $5 million this season or roughly 1/4 of Manny Ramirez' '06 salary. It's a damn shame that the guy is currently 10th in voting for AL OF and is never talked about even by Sox fans. No doubt about it. He should be starting in the ASG.
  18. QUOTE(daa84 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:15 PM) the farns then f***...
  19. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:12 PM) This Game is Ova Yeah in what the 7th?
