We would probably have to add a prospect, but we wouldn't lose anything as Gonzo is just as good defensively and better offesively. However, he would make a lot of money next year and Uribe will still be reletively cheap. Also, I still like Juan and think he could turn it around this year. But, just something to think about.

Through July 19th Fabio continues to do well in High A, especially for a 20 year old. He is 3-4 with a 2.75 ERA. 52.1 inn, 39 hits, 52/23 SO/BB

Viz's ERA without the early Indians game is 3.29, not bad. Not to mention he and Cotts are the only of our relievers that can go 2+ innings.

Kenny is definately frustrated with Count despite his pretty good numbers. He either shuts out teams or gets rocked. Also, even when he is pretty good, he eats the pen up. I think 7 innings is the most he has pitched this year, which is not good.

I don't believe, because if in fact, Gammons said no deal is done, I believe him. We all know he works for the Red Sox, so I tend not to believe this deal.

I would love Mueller, but he is also a FA after this year, so we obviously wouldn't give up much.
