QUOTE (robinventura23 @ May 29, 2011 -> 02:14 PM) I want to see Omar Vizquel pitch today. I was thinking Lillibridge could play all nine positions on the field in a game this year.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 29, 2011 -> 02:13 PM) Well then just sit back and relax and watch. It's not rocket science. We were due for a season where we were out of it in May. Let's just hope somehow this can be fixed/tweaked and the Sox aren't a s***ty team for years to come. Well we are going to be. We don't have very tradeable assets. We don't pick til 47th this year. We have huge contracts tied up to unproductive and injured players. We really won't be good for like five years IMO.

QUOTE (DirtySox @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:50 PM) They must be taking notes from bumbling Hawk who likes to slurp the fringe prospects/organizational fodder that is the Sox farm system. As far as I am concerned we have one legitimate prospect in the minors and a bunch of other guys who could be bullpen fodder or utility players.

Harrell runs off the mound thinking a pitch three feet outside was strike three. Nice.

QUOTE (JoshPR @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:45 PM) Wonder what crap is gonna come outta oswaldo's mouth today? Let's hope a racist slur, a homophobic slur and others slurs.

QUOTE (JoshPR @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:42 PM) I think rios sould benches instead of Pierre , at least he has some hits to show for I think our starting outfield should be Viciedo-Lillibridge-Quentin. Let both those pansies sit on the bench.

These "All-in" commercials are just hilarious to watch when the Sox suck.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:34 PM) Well I can't say that with Hahn, as I have no clue if he's capable or not. But I love the way Friedman runs that organization. I think he would run it completely different than KW. But you would think the Sox could go after Friedman if they wanted. He is probably desperate for the right opportunity to get out of that division.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:32 PM) I'm so jealous of Tampa. Could you imagine what Maddon/Friedman could do in our division? They'd go on a 90's Braves-like run. We have Friedman IMO with Hahn. We just would need to find that a good manager.

We have a bad C, LF, CF, DH, 3B and 2B. That's so sad to see 2/3 of our lineup everyday as sub-par players.

QUOTE (daa84 @ May 29, 2011 -> 01:25 PM) up until 2 years ago we did a pretty solid job staying out of them for the most part (with a few exceptions). then KW went nuts getting Rios peavy and dunn... The organization is in really bad shape right now with the amount of tied up money in the big leagues, lack of a farm system (and not having a first round pick wont help too much) And the most important aspect to our bad shapeness is the two boobs we have running the organization in Ozzie and KW.

Why no changes..............Really!
QUOTE (T R U @ May 29, 2011 -> 12:52 PM) Well the point is things could be a lot worse.. Would you be more satisfied with 86 wins a season, or if we had a losing record every year? At least for the most part, we've been in the playoff race every year.. But my point is things should be a hell of a lot better.

Hawks quit being so naive. What he found was f***ing HGH.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 29, 2011 -> 11:02 AM) Ozzie isn't the ONLY problem with this team. I think he is doing what needs to be done and laying it out there by calling out the players for not performing FIXED.

Lucas Harrell Called Up
I think Gregory Infante is way better, but since we need a guy to pitch many innings in Pena's role, he makes the most sense. Let's hope he gets a good feel for his sinker because that really determines how he pitches.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 29, 2011 -> 02:10 AM) Outside of using a racial slur, or something that degrades, religion, gays or mentally challenged people, Ozzie ain't goin' nowhere. I just don't see it. 2005 will live on forever. In a bad way in this case. You do realize it is Ozzie Guillen right? He hasn't said something stupid in awhile, so i think he is due. And it is just up his alley to say something along those lines. Ha. QUOTE (T R U @ May 29, 2011 -> 02:45 AM) Ozzie Guillen has averaged 86 wins a season, and has a world series title under his command of the White Sox.. I like how your selected numbers make him and KW out to be garbage.. Are you really satisfied with being an 86-win ballclub when we spend way more than everyone else and play in for the most part a second-class division? He has made the playoffs twice in those seven years. 86 wins sounds nice, but when you see the full context of the 86, it loses it impressiveness and becomes just mediocre. I will say this, his track record is at least better than KW who didn't make the playoffs the three years prior to Ozzie. So either Ozzie is no getting the best out of the clubs KW has put together, or KW is just not putting together solid, cohesive teams.

I find it weird that we have a general manager who is always eager to shake up the team player-wise, but he never wants to change anything coaching-wise. I really hope Ozzie just does something so asinine that along with his team's performance, he is fired. Obviously Ozzie could lose 15 straight here and would still have his job, so maybe if he says something completely stupid, that could do him in.

QUOTE (fathom @ May 28, 2011 -> 12:55 PM) Much better stuff by Jackson. Let's just pitch around Babetista the rest of the game. Ozzie is too smart for that. Behind Bautista is the .686-OPS powerhouse known as Juan Rivera.
