As long as IU takes care of business, this means that the Big Ten will get no more than 7 teams into the tournament, unless a long shot wins the BTT in Indy. -
Musberger also bringing up the Montgomery name from his work in the NBA over the weekend during the Illini-Minn game.

Going to be an interesting second half. Minnesota's starting to come back to earth at the end of the half with some bad mistakes. 37-34 Illini. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 07:30 PM) Great Pitching, a ton of home runs (most very timely), a loose clubhouse, and then some bunting and base stealing. Common referred to as "Ozzieball", even though that term and idea is a myth, as the first 3 reasons are more than 90 percent of why we won it all. *ducks* Boo, stay with the Hawk theme. Ozzieball--It's an attitude! -

QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) Aflac triva question? What style of baseball made the White Sox World Series Champions in 2005? -
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 07:24 PM) Haha I always tell people that is my favorite Marte memory. I remember when I was first able to use MLB.TV last year, he made this tag play at home on a WP in KC. It saved us this game. That was really awesome. The Sox fans and myself were all huddled around the monitor for that one and going crazy lol.

Anyone see that new MJ commercial?

QUOTE(Fourofakind @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) I think those are probably footage of the actual kids. The moves could be practiced knowing every kid idolizes him, myself included. It seem that on the dunks and the switch layup that it is a smaller basket. Maybe I am wrong but it seems that the height is much shorter. Nevertheless, a great commercail. needs to be aired on tv more often. I agree. -

NFL Labor Talks Break down

This could end up being great for the Colts, if they can't put a cap on it. -
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 06:31 PM) I guess I look at it differently. When Paulie came up, although I had a good feeling, I was also like "ok, this is our last chance, we better not f***ing blow this and head to Houston 1-1". When he hit that slam, it was part extreme joy and subconsious relief that we had the lead. With Pods homer, it was the 2nd most shocking thing I've ever seen in sports (next to the Illinois/Arizona comeback) and I was just completely losing my mind since it officially won the damn game and sent Houston home in a state of horrid depression. In my eyes, I just felt Kong's won us the game. I wasn't scared at all after Jenks blew the save. I was freaked out when we were down earlier in the game, but I knew something ridiculous would happen in our favor after the BS. We weren't going to let it slip away.

I had a seizure during PK's grand slam. It was my favorite moment of the playoffs/WS.

QUOTE(HoosierSox @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 06:16 PM) Montgomery would probably bring Smart along with him too. Which would be an added bonus. I would be estatic if IU got him. That'd be a sweet deal. Smart isn't too bad of a coach. I saw him coach Damon Bailey and the Fort Wayne Fury before Isiah destroyed the CBA. And it'd give us "one of our own," if that's really needed.

Who do you guys think will win Big Ten awards? If tOSU takes care of business--I'd be shocked to see someone other than Dials and Matta winning player and coach of the year. I don't know the choices as well for freshman of the year, but Jamelle Cornley of PSU has 12 points and 5 boards on a better Penn State team. -
Here's a better College Humor movie, lol. http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/1667844/
