  2. I'm definitely in. To blame Crede for last night's loss is ridiculous. We've only played 6 games, way too early to give up on anyone.
  3. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 08:49 AM) Personally I'd be fine if we don't play another game on ESPN all year. If we want to play in the playoffs; we're going to have to be on there sooner or later...
  4. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) Ummm... if Crede doesn't botch that play, Buehrle doesn't even have to throw a pitch. Nice try though. Still would've been 3-2, in the end. Not exactly the difference maker. And it looks like some just used the dreaded "if."
  5. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) I thought we were gonna do it greasy. Ever so close. Nice.
  6. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) Let's just get out of this f***ing Twinkie dome with our series win, and go take another one from the Tribe... Good call Keith. People can step back from those ledges. We've won 2 series' now, pretty damn good way to start the season if you ask me. Last I checked, I've never seen a team go 161-1.
  7. QUOTE(Hall of Famer @ Jul 24, 2004 -> 09:19 PM) We have a hole at 3b, my ass. Joe is unclutch, my ass. Says the president of the Anti-Crede Crew.
  8. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) Personally I root for everyone on this team, don't know about you. Just saw a post from one of last year's game threads where half of the Anti Crede club was slurping him up after he had a great game. Knee jerk reactions to any one play this early in the season is just a huge overreaction.
  9. I didn't know you were able to say Crede sucks in so many ways. Woo hoo.
  10. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 07:42 PM) Anyone else get the feeling that there aren't gonna be a heck of a lot more runs tonight? That's what I expected going into it. It's ace vs. ace tonight.
  11. Tiger back at numero 1 in the world.... Major #9 for Woods, he joins Palmer and Nicklaus as one of three with 4 or more Masters championships. Slump? Haha.
  12. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) Why is there no thread yet? Tiger and D'marco (sp?) are in a playoff. Tiger bogied the last two after making an amazing birdie chip on 16. Should be an exciting finish. We're in another thread...
  13. DiMarco's kind of the new Mickelson. Always in the last group, just hasn't won it. I'm still pulling for Tiger.
  14. Wow..DiMarco won't go away. A playoff for the Masters.
  15. Tiger Tiger Woods Ya'll! That chip shot at 16!
  16. QUOTE(Reddy @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 01:21 PM) i love frank so much and i just hope this organization doesnt make the monumental mistake of getting rid of him before he retires... they do that... damn i'll be pissed. he needs to retire a sox. ^Yeah that.^ I I I I V
  17. Man...I'm so pumped for tonight's game...Let's sweep these Twinkies!
  18. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 10, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) Wow what happened to DiMarco? I was really rooting for him. Oh well, once Tiger gets his game back all these other whiners will shut up for a while. I always love seeing Tiger on the top of the leaderboard. It just seems the golf's more exciting when he's up there. Also, this is good news for the Anti-Mariottis. Mariotti has constantly said Tiger's in a slump, and he said if Tiger wins a major, he'd start at -30 on ATH. I just hope he doesn't flop on that statement too.
  19. Pretty interesting. That's good reasoning to still stay grounded with the early success this ballclub is having. There's a lot of baseball to be played between now and then. We'll have 15 games with them in the final 2 months, and that's an easy way to gain or lose ground in the standings in a hurry. One more cliche, just to make this a chiche-y post.....It's a marathon, not a sprint.
