  1. We had this place in Fort Wayne that unfortunately closed. It was called the Red Star Tavern. It was awesome. I could go order something different everytime I go there and be happy with what I had.
  2. This was just brought up on ATH, and I thought it was kind of interesting. I'm not concerned about what you guys think about an undefeated season. If Illinois doesn't win it all, would you consider this a disappointing season?
  3. QUOTE(hi8is @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 04:28 PM) uhhh ohhh hopefully they can get it together, we all know they both have the potential to win 15+ games if healthy and heady heh Shingo had the worst ST too in 04....Just sayin'
  4. They really start showing them next week. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...=cws&m=3&y=2005
  5. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 09:55 AM) Thanks everyone, glad I'm around to see the sox take it to the house this year!!! Glad to hear you're doing fine PA. No one should have to experience something like that, but it's good to hear nothing came out of it. Good thoughts your way.

  7. This was in Mariotti's column about it...I kind of laughed at this..
  8. QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 06:19 PM) That's an odd group for Frank to be a part of True...I think they're just pulling the names out of Canseco's book, regardless where they are in the book.

  10. I don't think we have to worry about a weight gain. As it's been said quite a few times now. A-Row worked out with him this offseason, and he said that he was looking great. We shall see though!
  11. Ahhh, I love hearing that. Great news to hear Frank's going to be taking part in ST.
  12. x 3 Happy Birthday to each of you!
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 11:41 PM) That's a cool sig greasy, well themed. Ha thanks Rowand. It'll at the least be up until Selection Sunday. Man oh man, these days are going to go slow.
  14. Robert Montgomery wins #850... Jim Calhoun wins #700....
  15. That would take 18 millenniums to cut out those spokes....

  17. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) I didn't see the game last night (I freakin fell asleep) and I generally do not criticize officiating. But it must have been really bad because Sonny Smith and Wimp Sanderson were commenting this morning on the radio about how badly it was officiated. They even mentioned the lead official by name and said he and his crew were terrible. For those that do not know, Sonny Smith is a former Auburn head coach and Wimp Sanderson is a former Alabama head coach. They have a radio show here locally. That's what I was told the people I was talking to last night. I hate blaming the officials, because it's just an excuse really. However, if there were ever a night to do so...
  18. I don't know anymore. Last night sucked a lot of optimism out of me. The more I think about it, we're probably going to be the second Big Ten team since '98 to not make it in the dance with 10 conference wins. 27 of 28 Big Ten teams have made it in the tournament with 10 conference wins, since the change to the 16 game conference schedule. Michigan was the first, but that was because they ruled themselves ineligible.
  19. That's the funny thing.. With the old RPI, the Sagarin, Indiana's a #50, and we're a 48 in that KenPom thing. However, with this new RPI, we're 21 spots worse at #71. Blah.
  20. Thanks Yas. I read the articles all over again this morning; (I shouldn't have done that). Bah....I was the highest I ever could be on this team's season after Sunday's win over State. I'm as far as I can be from that state after last night. It's going to leave a nasty taste in my mouth when games like these are going to be the difference from us being in or out of the dance. 56-53 Mizz 74-73 Charlotte 75-73 escaping Purdue and now last night... Like Terry Hutchens said in his recap today: "Unfortunately for the Indiana University basketball team, the new Ratings Percentage Index formula doesn't take into account close losses suffered on one of the toughest opposing courts in the nation."
