Good deal; I'd really have hated to see us 1.5 back in the standings right now.

With all the things Cincy's gotten away with in the past few years, there's no way they'll do anything to him. It's pathetic, because this is just as bad if not more than what Larry Eustachy and the other recently fired coaches did.

I feel we'll end up w/ a 92-69 record, and we won't even have to make up the Philly rain out....

Finally some clutch hitting by a Twins opponent.

I like Hawk, and would stick with the regular broadcast regardless. However, this is a cool idea. It brings the fans closer to the game, and they really get to feel as part of the organization. I could see this catching on with other clubs in the future.

If they lose we're .5 a game back; we're 1.5 back if the Twins win. C'mon Philly.

This is the first election I'm able to vote in, and I'm really not sure I want to. I really don't see anything about either candidate that stands out right now; we'll see. Bush is going to win the state anyways.

I really agree; I feel we're going to surprise people. It's crazy to think that as an IU fan, but we really fell off the radar last year. I wish Smith would have came for at least a season, but I feel strong about the incoming freshman class. Hardy's from Elmhurst HS in-town, and he was just awesome. He set many city records, and that's pretty impressive in Indiana HS basketball land. I think it's going to be an interesting season in the Big Ten; not everyone's great again. However, I see a great race between MSU, UM, UI, and IU going on this year. I definitely can't wait for the games; I'm going to go to as many as possible. I understand you only get like 6 games w/ a season pass with the demand, but I'm going to try to make it to more than that. Heck, I'm even going to the football games.....

I'm not sure what happened, but I was watching the KC-Mon highlights on ESPN. Beltran did something to his leg; he had a little trouble walking back to the dugout after running the bases. From the Royals' website:

Well we've saw this coming all along; however, it sucks to really start to see it being confirmed. I'm glad we have a lot of up and coming OF talent in our minor league system. However, it is pretty disheartening that we can't keep solid players like Mags, that began in the organization. I just hope if Mags doesn't come back, we end up becoming spenders on someone else this offseason.
