What a great game between the Uni of Milwaukee-Wisconsin and Uni of Illinois-Chicago....UIC hits a late basket to take the lead at 64-62, and steals the ball on UWM's opportunity w/ 5.7 seconds left. UIC makes one of two free throws after getting fouled, and they win the game 65-62. UIC pulls off an upset in the Horizon League Championship, and gets their 3rd bid to the NCAA tourney.

It'd be a great storyline for maybe Valpo, but do you know how much this state's going to get dogged this year? IU, PU, and ND all are big disappointments this year, and we're already going to have to hear how superior the ACC is to the Big Ten, now that the Big Ten will have like nobody in the tourney.....

I usually can see those, but right now w/ baseball starting I'm never home, and when I am home I'm getting the homework I have done....

Very nice!! Congrats on Valparaiso's 7th appearance in the tourney. I just got back from baseball, I only got to see the end. I was glad to see IUPUI won their game last night to make this a win-win for the state of Indiana. Hopefully the unthinkable happens, and IU, Purdue, or ND does end up joining you after all by pulling off conference tournament victories.

Well this isn't worthy of starting its own thread, but another goofy question.... What are the Chisox going to wear as a patch this year on the sleeve of their jersey? They used to have that Comiskey patch, and last year they had the All-Star one...Do they have a clue on what they will have there?

Sweet! That means I should be able to get my copy tomorrow. I reserved a copy 3 weeks ago at Babbages. I can't wait for this. I saw a commercial for it earlier today, everything about this game seems to be right on; it's ridiculous.

I'm definitely pulling for them. I hate to see IU not make the tourney. And with Purdue and Notre Dame having down years as well, Valpo could be the state of Indiana's last chance at getting a team into the tourney. The state of Indiana has always had some kind of representation in the tourney ever year since 1974.

Yeah....That'll be nice. It'll be weird as hell though this time around. Unless we win the BTT (who am I kidding?), this will be the first time in my existence that IU hasn't made the tourney. If they don't win at the least 2 games in the BTT, this will be the first time since the 1974-1975 season that IU hasn't made any kind of playoffs.

Makes sense to me. They have to at least keep him there a year or two w/ this recruiting class. None of these guys would come in here w/out Davis. Davis still needs to have time to prove himself w/ his own players. This won't happen for another couple years. Sophomore Sean Kline committed to Indiana his sophomore year in high school when Knight was still at the helm. Another thing is who exactly could IU get if Davis were let go? Not that easy question to answer....
