Game today?
I'm glad to see we got another win, and Scho had a decent outing. I can't see tomorrow's game, but I'll definitely be in front of the television on Sunday. I can't wait to watch some Sox baseball!

ESPN MLB Video Game
I like some aspects of this, like the confidence meter and that it's ESPN endorsed, but I'm glad I got MVP 2004.

I was watching at school until we tied it w/ 5 to go. I didn't get to hear about the game until NOW, at 10 pm...that was torture! We had a pep rally, for our team going on to regionals, so I didn't get to see the conclusion of the game or anything. I guess we just ended up falling short, basically how the whole season went. Congrats on moving on El Caballo, and all the other Illini fans.

We're playing in regionals on Saturday against Muncie Central! I can't wait! We're only 14-10 overall , but we're 1 of only 2 teams remaining from the city.

I don't know what ND's fate is going to be now. They lost to an Okafor-less UCONN 66-58.

Sox vs. Padres - March 11, 2004
I understand where you're coming from, but if you look at season's past....Thomas has never really had hot starts, so he'll get his stroke back. I do agree though. I wish he would start trying for the base hits again and try to go opposite field w/ the ball.

I love ESPN's headlines for these things..... They have a big picture of Jameer Nelson under a towel, and a big headline w/ a double meaning... "Nobody's perfect!" What do you guys think about St. Joe's position in the tourney now? I still give them the #1. However, I see them possibly being the first #1 team to go out first round if they play a team w/ a good front court.

I got to see this during school today, my teacher's a big basketball fan..So that was sweet.... Mark Johnson, who had a career total of 6 points before today had 13! Davis did the smartest thing he has done all season, by pulling the starters when we were down early. The bench was great, and this team just does not want to give it up just yet. Tomorrow's game should be interesting. I expect the starters to have a better game, Strickland especially. And WOW, about St. Joes...I saw the updates across the bottom line. I just kept laughing. That is strange how they lost like that at home. If they end up being a #1 still and get matched up against a #16 team w/ a nice frontcourt....Things could get interesting...... Another note on IU.... IU remains the last unbeaten team in the NCAA!

That would be him. He helped AZ make that comeback. The Bernard release doesn't surprise me at all.

Wow...This is kind of a shock to me....I'm really surprised there haven't been any other callers. I wish we would pick him up.

Frank Thomas Article
I truly do feel he's going to be first ballot, with the exception of his BA, most of his numbers have stayed fairly consistent. The numbers I can't get over is the 7 straight seasons of a .300 BA, 20+ HRs, 100+ RBIs, BBs, and Runs........

What a great game between the Uni of Milwaukee-Wisconsin and Uni of Illinois-Chicago....UIC hits a late basket to take the lead at 64-62, and steals the ball on UWM's opportunity w/ 5.7 seconds left. UIC makes one of two free throws after getting fouled, and they win the game 65-62. UIC pulls off an upset in the Horizon League Championship, and gets their 3rd bid to the NCAA tourney.
