  1. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 20, 2007 -> 04:14 PM) How many hits did he get in AAA? 73.
  2. Was that Hawk or DJ that yelped?
  3. Jerry Krause should be our GM. And someone should start AND1 baseball.
  4. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 19, 2007 -> 08:31 PM) I had been calm the entire season about this team, which is bizarre for me. I just can't take the last 2 days, blowing leads to a horrendous team and not hitting their equally horrendous bullpen. 2005 softened me up so as I get over bad years once the offseason starts (SEE: this last winter), but I will always been borderline bi-polar about the Sox. It's not healthy, I'll admit, but at least I care. I still care, but I kind of enjoy not having that game's results affect what kind of mood I will be in until the start of the next game. But maybe I'm just crazy for liking that.
  5. * *I actually wanted to put an image of the game Bloons on here, but this image came up first on Google, and it had to be used.
  6. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ May 19, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) No..you love to hate this team more than you love them. Thats what's sad. The blind negativity is what makes you a poor fan. You demand perfection in a game where if you fail 7 out 10 times batting you're an All-Star. I'm not saying you need to grow up...just mature. Reactionary negativity is not mature. 2005 has definitely made me a lot softer on this team. I don't know if that's permanent, or it's just part of a cushion for doing the unthinkable--but this team is far from controlling my emotions win or lose like it did before getting the rings. I don't know if one mindset equates to being a truer fan than another; however, it definitely equates to being crazier. So all I can really do is laugh at these threads sometimes. It's got to hurt jumping off a bridge every other day. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 19, 2007 -> 08:27 PM) Our guys are failing at the dish 8 times out of 10 though, not 7 And I love this team beyond belief, otherwise I would not deal with this nonsense. But I always have and always will. Maybe my standards are too high, but at least I care enough to get mad when we fail. That's what a true fan is all about. I might still get mad, but this team doesn't own my emotions to that unhealthy extent (kind of what you're claiming). I realize this is only a game, and it's not the end all that some people try to make it out to be.
  7. QUOTE(The Critic @ May 19, 2007 -> 12:26 PM) That's good enough for me. What he said.
  8. Erstad, CF Ozuna, LF Dye, RF Konerko, 1B Iguchi, 2B Crede, 3B Uribe, SS Hall, C Buehrle, SP

  10. QUOTE(bigruss22 @ May 17, 2007 -> 10:24 PM) So whats your thoughts, do Elliot and JD kiss or do they resist and move on? Seems that they both may do a Carla and JD kiss where they have feelings for each other but know it wont go anywhere. I think something will end up interrupting the moment that they were having, preventing them from kissing. I think the writers did a good job making them getting back together believable, by having them both realize that they both have the flaw of backing out when things get too close. This explains a lot of what the both of them have done throughout the length of the show, whether it was between the two of them or to others. However, the stories with Keith and Kim can't be ignored. It'll be interesting to see what the writers do.
  11. I really liked this. Things are definitely at an interesting spot right now. It feels like things are resolved, and then they aren't at the same time. It's nice to know that there is a seventh season, and we'll be able to see what the result of all this is. I know Brian doesn't want to see it, but I definitely would like to see the JD/Elliot thing happen. However, there's no way that relationship will pick up at the beginning of next season. It will probably happen, but I can't see it happening right away. And Elliot in scrubs (the attire) = amazing.
  12. I see them on EBay and what not, but it's insane that they're not on any sites.
  13. Joe Crede's got a lot of my money.
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ May 16, 2007 -> 10:01 PM) If you're going to do that, you must use this (ignore the foreign captions):
  15. QUOTE(BobDylan @ May 11, 2007 -> 08:45 PM) That's a pretty decent machine. The laptop keyboard and touchpad get some taking used to, but I don't think I can ever go back to a mouse and hunky keyboard again. I hate the touchpad on the laptop. If I ever had to get a laptop, I'd have to get a mouse.
  16. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 16, 2007 -> 04:48 PM) You need therapy me thinks. I'M THE CANDY MAN.
  17. QUOTE(TheOcho @ May 16, 2007 -> 04:46 PM) That was fast Greasy. Skills. Playing Bloons and not making sense doesn't hurt either. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ May 16, 2007 -> 04:47 PM) danks You're welcome.
  18. Danktastic. Hopefully this isn't the only one of these today.
  19. I'm not sold on Zeller either, and I can't see him going anywhere but Purdue. I'd be happy with a swap of Dunigan's and Zeller's spots on your list.
  20. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 16, 2007 -> 11:44 AM) On a minor league field. And I believe they drew about 1000 more fans than they drew last year for an average game in a Rangers @ Tampa series. http://www.aolsportsblog.com/2007/05/15/th...ing-to-orlando/
