  1. Digging the opening song this week. Garland is definitely looking good so far—it’s hard to believe he hasn’t gotten a W to his name yet. Buehrle’s start was definitely the best I’ve seen from a Sox pitcher ever. I only got to follow it on Gameday; however, it was awesome to keep track of. Skip Clueless is an awesome nickname for such a dumbass—nice stabs at him Gage. That no hitter was legit, and it was definitely great. Good point Mario—Buehrle’s probably are star pitcher, but the media probably doesn’t view him in the same lore as the Roger Clemens and Randy Johnsons. I’ve been really pleased with John Danks. That Rangers trade has looked very positive on our end, thus far. He’s giving us good innings, and keeping us in games. I agree that Erstad’s been a positive in the field, and that BA is not helping his cause at all. His performance at bat and in the field Sunday definitely hurt his very small bandwagon. I agree about Iguchi. It should be in stone, that he’s our 2 hitter. He’s best in that spot, as he takes better at bats, and he gets us a lot more production in that spot. The Sox benefit much more with him there. Bill Wertz = Hitler Our bullpen has been great. I was a bit skeptical about that coming into the season; however, they’ve been very productive pitchers for the team. KW did a great job with those moves. Ahahahaha, the godfather.
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 08:06 PM) At least there is some good rain delay theater tonight. What is it?
  3. QUOTE(greg775 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 08:32 PM) Understand the sarcasm, but does anybody really believe this team is anything but a .500 to .540 type win percentage team? No.
  4. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 12:32 PM) Unless we get Erstad on this year. hahahaha Now that would be classic. I found this: If that's the case, I want to say it was 2002--Maggs 2003--Frank 2004--Frank/Maggs 2005--Pods 2006--AJ
  5. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 12:07 PM) My bad, reading too fast. Thought you were talking about vote winners. So have the Sox had a player on that ballot every year since the inception? I'm getting jumbled with what years Frank and Maggs were on there (I'm starting to doubt myself and think Maggs might have been on there twice too?) I know one year, both were on the same ballot.
  6. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 11:52 AM) ?? MLB All-Star Final Vote History 2006: A.J. Pierzynski (White Sox) 2005: Scott Podsednik (White Sox) 2004: Hideki Matsui (Yankees) 2003: Jason Varitek (Red Sox) 2002: Johnny Damon (Red Sox) Those Sox players I listed have been on the fan ballot.
  7. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 09:29 AM) I can't wait until we get a third player on the fan balloting this year. We've already had Frank twice, Maggs, Pods, and AJ.
  8. Saw this on my sports calendar today; that definitely sparked that team's summer.
  9. Looks like the WS Parade to me.
  10. Ocho's a good number---have a good one!
  11. Though it's fun, I hope we're not on that extra man ballot this year. I need a break.
