  3. to borrow the words of Morpheus..... "he fights for us" The rally crede motto
  4. Has anyone heard abouy Adwale's injury? I hope hes gonna be heathly all year
  5. This looks as if it could be one of the worst movies ever created.... and poor John Heder is on a collision course towards the Surreal life 10 and he doesnt even know it... Im so tired of seeing the same old s*** over and over again... but where do i take my girlies to before I make my romance inside of them? Get off ur ass hollywood...
  6. Rex Grossman is signed through next year... just want everyone to remember that. While i dont think the job is his and his alone.... I don't think Orton is going to perform good enough to keep Rex from playing on the Bears again.
  7. I dont really have a number 1 team I guess if i did... it would be Flordia, ever since i watched Rex Grossman light things up as a sophomore, I always rooted for them. Spurrier was a fun coach to watch..... I always root for Illinois, Northwestern - unless they play eachother... then i root for Illinois. I've just never gotten close enough to any NCAA football team to really really adopt them as my own. And I watch a s***load of college football... its wierd.
  8. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) TO never left??!?!? ESPN has been lying to me all summer. T.O. has played in the preseason has he not? T.O. played in the Super Bowl. When did he leave? when he was suspended from camp? other than that he's been to every day of camp. Barry left after Spring training.
  9. well Scottie Stevens said that the year away from the game made him realize he didnt want to take anymore punishment and spend more time with his family. If you already have the Fame, glory, money - what incentive is there to return? just a thought
  10. T.O. never left..... Bonds hasnt played in a year and I want to see if he can break the record considering he's no longer "enhacned by science"
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 10:47 PM) Drafting another rookie wouldnt really give us the depth we want at QB. We need to find out what we have in our QB's this year to decide what to do next year. I actually think if he is in game shape Jeff Blake is not that bad of a backup. If Kyle Orton improves his play he can be our starter next year and Grossman would fall to the backup or their probably would be a competition between the 2 next season in training camp/pre-season. Id say if Orton steadily improves this season than we should be fine going into next season with Orton, Grossman, and Blake. Quick question does anyone know when/if we get Bryant johnson back... the FB... Because the guy we got out there now is pretty crappy. The Bears last good QB was Erik Kramer...... Thats all i really need to say. Unless your going to build a Ravens esqe defense.... and Cedric Benson is a Jamal Lewis Type runner... Your going to need a f***ing quarterback, the more talent you put on the depth chart, the greater chance you have at clicking on one of these guys.
  12. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 10:44 PM) i hope not. Orton is your future. You can't hand the job to Rex. Rex hasn't done s*** yet in the NFL. Orton will be the next bears QB. I loved what i saw from him in college and i think he will be a steal at the 4th round. You drafted Rex in the First Round and the org thinks they have a franchise QB in him. What do you lose by putting him in, if the current trend of bad offensive football continues? If Orton really is as good as he, and his followers think he is - he will own this job by week 12. If he happens to lose it, he will win it back in 06 if he's really that good. Same goes for Rex, I love the eyebrow manicured SoB, but if he's really that good he'll take the job in week 12-13 (if the team sucks) and not relinquish it. Potential is a tricky mother f***er, but whatever the case... we need to f***ing solidify the QB position.
  13. Mark Bradley runs really amazing routes for a rookie WR, the guy is literally open twice as much as Gage, Berrian, Wade. If "The Moose" takes him under his rather large wing, we could be looking at Pro Bowl wideout pretty soon.
  14. Honestly, i wish you'd hear more stuff like this than Jamal Lewis brokering cocaine deals. But Slime sells, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Kudos Mr. Oneal, Kudos
  15. I think whats going to happen, is that Rex comes back around the 12th week of the season... has some success and they feel content with Orton challenging him for the job 06. That being said, if the Bears are in position to draft a Matt Leinart you draft him. even if rex comes back from his injury goes 4-0 with 80.5 TD's and 0.123 INT's you still draft a QB. There has to be some depth at that position, we need to stabalize the MOST IMPORTANT POSITION IN THE GAME!
  16. The Bears QB for the future.... is healing from a broken ankle. For a rookie, Orton did ok... i still saw some happy feet in the pocket from time to time, but he definitely has an NFL arm. Rex is still the most talented QB on the roster, and I say that because I really really like him - although its still prolly true. I have a feeling your gonna see number 8 on the field again this year, from week 12-17 maybe less.
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) When did givin up yards become a bad thing if they dont score. I dont know where you come from but when a defense only gives up 9 points and forces multiple turnovers thats called good. giving up yards = 2 things Time of Possesion in their favor and Field Position. both battles you want to win. That being said... the defense was good.
  18. I just realized.... The dump i took earlier in the day was alot more satisfying than watching the bears today. My Digestive System > Bears Offense
  19. QUOTE(SnB @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 02:51 PM) rex is more attractive than that man. Def... Rex is my man crush.
  20. Rex Grossman will be the starting quarterback to close this year out.... winning all 4 of his starts, giving the bears a 4-12 record. he will go into 2006 camp as the starter... make it to the third preseason game and slip on a bananna peel injuring him for the rest of the year
  21. This was about 5-6 years late for messier... wasn't very useful on the ice.
  22. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) I believe not only was he injured, but his best receiver also was hobbled for part of last year. Orton was incredible when he was healthy early in the year...he looked like he deserved a heisman. THen he got hurt and went downhill fast. He could turn out to be a saviour for you guys, but I think the reality is he may turn out to be more of a Brees - he'll need a fair amount of time to adapt to the NFL game and stay healthy before he can give you any real quality. Considering the fact that Jonathan Quinn & Henry Burris have played in regular season games for the bears the past 2 years (or was burris 3 years ago).... Im pretty comfortable with the possibilty of having a Drew Brees, although I think Orton's arm is a grade higher than brees is. Orton had a hip pointer after the Wisconson game i want to say, and it hurt him immensely everytime he threw the ball... he looks pretty healthy now. Thanks for adding the pics of Cedric and Sweetnes... i think there may be something to that.
  23. Another thing.... im close to actually liking Kyle Orton, but does he have to wear that ugly f***ing three-bar helmet? That facemask looked ugly when Dan Marino wore it in the 80's! if Kyle Orton would just go with a standard Tom Brady I would fall in love, if he went Phillip Rivers like with a visor... hed really have me. Note to all football players.... VISORS are cool, even if u dont need one... wear one!
  24. Has anyone else noticed that Cedric has been sporting a sweetness like mustache, that curls around the corners of his mouth? He also has a very sweentness-like afro working.... I dunno, maybe he's trying to get into the hearts of bears fans by imitating their greatest hero.... maybe im crazy.... The bottom line is I hope he plays like Payton.
