Yasny......my feelings exactly... we've got nothing to lose with Robbie. We arnt paying for him and what we gave up....were pieces that were expendable because of the depth at the reliever position. Will Robbie Go .330 25 100? No.. but his defense experience are both qualities that this team lacked and now have gained with his presence on the team. Rick or Kenny....whoever made this trade... not bad.

I think brining up a guy like Arnie Munoz and unleashing his Zito like curveball could do the trick...but he's struggling at Charlotte...so that might not work. If they traded Cotts for Weaver....which I hope they dont... That would move Danny to the Pen and make a bullpen which had a couple holes look pretty damn good.

What did he trade away??? Royce Ring...???? I mean i liked the guy, but we have alot of royce rings in this system (lots of relievers) . Almonte hasnt pitched good for over a year now and the A baller doesnt seem like much either. And we get Robbie ALomar for FREE..... no money outta our pockets. And if ur worried about losing him after the season is done.... we get first round compensation from whatever team he signs..... no harm no foul. Sorry to say this, and I know it's fun to rip on Kenny..... but ur wrong on this one, Kenny made a nice move.
