Knowing full well that JR will never spring for a longterm contract for a Colon and knowing KW is a schmuck, all I'm excited about is SoxFest and the fact that the pitchers and catchers report for ST in about a month. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see Colon coming over here. I just really want this dude.......in a non-sexual way of course.

Not only do I remember, I believe that will be the turning point of his career. He was truly dominated a RedSox line-up that pounded sox pitching a couple nights earlier....... After this night and a couple others...... I stopped thinking Jon Garland was my favorite pitcher who just wasn't there yet, and started believing that Jon Garland was my favorite pitcher who had a chance to win every start. The difference is at age 22 Vazquez was 5-15 with a 6.06 ERA, while Garland was 12-12 with a 4.58 ERA. He might be better now, but not for long. I can think of alot of things you would be better off spending your hard earned money on than a team that has no intention of bettering itself. I wish someone would kill all these Colon f***ing rumor threads. There are gonna be alot of let down posters when Colon either goes to another team or starts 2003 in an Expos uni. If Kenny f***s up the deal......... then we can chastise him, however he looks like he is in the drivers seat, so give him a little patience until he has actually f***ed up.

This deal, or lack there of...... will make or break KW's fragile career as the Whitesox GM.
