Peter Gammons is reporting that Pierzynski may be non-tendered. I hate the prick, but if he's willing to help our team out, I'm all for it. f*** the Twins.

Astros make Beltran offer; Five-year, $70 million deal reportedly on table
-
And I'm sure Kendall's no trade clause and desire to play on the west coast had nothing to do with the Sox not being able to get him. :rolly I also like you say only Kenny could see something in Ben Davis despite the fact that Ben Davis was a first round draft choice, and Baseball America had thisto say about him: But of course, only Kenny the idiot sees something special in Ben. :rolly

No, I don't want Sosa back. I was going to make a picture of Sammy in a Sox hat as a joke about who our new right fielder would be. I tried to make it but his head is so large the file would be too large to update on Soxtalk. f*** Scammy.

By waiting for other teams to make moves, it affects the market. The Mets and Reds have been f***ing up the market for pitchers, and Beltran could control the market for free agent outfielders. Artero Moreno signing Carlos Beltran could affect how much KW pays Hidalgo or Dye.

I agree with you on Luis Gonzalez, and others have disagreed with me. I can't tell a god damn difference.

NO, I'm just speculating.

I'm not asking for what would happen to the Sox if Manuel was fired. I don't expect you to know the answer. I would just like to read what you think what would've happened to the Sox if they fired Manuel after the All-Star break. Playoffs? ALCS? World Series? KW felt that the team he put together could've gone deep into the playoffs. I bet you think KW is stupid for saying that, yet you can even give me a simple answer as to how far you think the Sox would've gone under a manager other than Manuel for the second half of 2003. Personally, I felt they could've made it to the ALCS because they would've played the Yanks in the first round, and the Sox dominated the Yanks in 2003.
-
And why is that? Can't you give me a simple answer? What do you think would've happened to the 2003 team if KW got his wish and dumped Manuel after the All-Star break or back in May?
-
"Failed miserably?" Give me a f***ing break. We been down this road a 100 times. KW was not responsible for the September collapse against the Twins. KW was not responsible for Magglio or Frank getting hurt. KW was not responsible for Konerko going into a coma for most of 2003. KW was not responsible for the starting pitchers getting pulled too soon in 2002 and 2003. KW was not responsible for Frank's hot bat going ice cold in September. KW was not responsible for Mark Buehrle going 2-10 for the beginning of the 2003 season. KW was not responsible for starting Neal Cotts in Yankee stadium. Get off him already. The manager is responsible for getting all of the talent out of the players he is given (i.e. Jerry Manuel.) The players also have their own responsibility as well. You can't fault KW for the team not winning in 2003, that was Manuel's fault. What do you think would've happened to the 2003 team if KW got his wish and dumped Manuel after the All-Star break or back in May?

Link to audio clip :sleep He doesn't seem happy.

Minny were we going to do the same guy or what? Otherwise I'll just stick with my Wright mugshot. I've been working on a Sosa one, but it is make my stomach twist the more his blue cap turns into a black cap. :puke

He still gave us a bad name because his first wife acussed him of hitting her with an empty rum bottle. BTW, I didn't make this pic. Sports Illustrated posted pictures like this of Giambi, Bonds, Sosa, and a few other back in March when that whole Balco thing broke out.
-
Uhh, I think you have that ass backwards. KW is trying to put together World Series caliber teams as evident by him getting Garcia last season instead of Moyer or Cory Lidle. When asked about any minor leaguers being "untouchable," Kenny said "1917." The man knows the Sox haven't won a championship in 88 years, and isn't satisfied with just a division title. The problem comes in when whiney Sox fans b**** about KW because the Sox didn't win the division, and they feel that KW didn't put a division winning caliber team on the field, when in fact the teams KW put together (2003 and 2004) he was expecting them to go deep into the playoffs. b****. b****. b****.

http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/postseason/scoutingreport/ATL I recall seeing clips of him throwing his two seam fastball, and it looked as good as Colon's.

<-------------------ME hearing the news. Oh well. As least I wasn't the one who wrote this.

Considering that KW is supposedly keeping quiet this offseason, yes.

My buddy swears that if you go up to scalpers after the tip-off, they'll be desperate to get rid of their tickets.

I don't think anyone would be stupid to use it. I'm probably going to get it for my dad just for the novelty.
