December 6, 200421 yr From http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines One player he won't be pursuing is Randy Johnson, who has made it clear he doesn't want to pitch for the White Sox. The 41-year-old left-hander appears to want to leave the rebuilding Arizona Diamondbacks to pitch for a contender, but he also has a no-trade clause. "I've been told he won't pitch on the South Side of Chicago," Williams said
December 6, 200421 yr How bad are the Sox if Randy would rather stay in Arizona than come here?? I have never wanted him, but that does suck if we arn't seen in great eyes.

December 6, 200421 yr Author And this is surprising? It's not surprising but I thought it was newsworthy...
December 6, 200421 yr I think Johnson is pretty sold on going to the Yankees. But yeah, it never thought he'd be coming here anyways.
December 6, 200421 yr How bad are the Sox if Randy would rather stay in Arizona than come here?? Not bad at all, IMO. Screw him. Lets win in spite of him and make him sorry he didn't come here. Glass half full people..
December 6, 200421 yr It's not surprising but I thought it was newsworthy... I think that's right. I haven't heard it coming from KW before now. And this doesn't say much about the Sox at all. RJ wants to be in NY, or maybe St L or Anaheim. He's just trying to force their hand in one of those directions.
December 6, 200421 yr And this is surprising? Considering that KW is supposedly keeping quiet this offseason, yes.
December 6, 200421 yr It's not surprising but I thought it was newsworthy... I'm not attacking your post at all. I'm just saying it to say. We had to know he wasn't coming here, but I guess this makes it offical now.
December 6, 200421 yr Considering that KW is supposedly keeping quiet this offseason, yes. There isn't super glue super enough...
December 6, 200421 yr Randy's not coming here!!!???? Get out! Aw shucks. Don't tell Dorf. :rolly <-------------------ME hearing the news. Oh well. As least I wasn't the one who wrote this.
December 6, 200421 yr Not bad at all, IMO. Screw him. Lets win in spite of him and make him sorry he didn't come here. Glass half full people.. Actually the glass is completely full. The deal that would have brought him here was a loser from day one and would have hurt the team more than it helped.
December 6, 200421 yr Actually the glass is completely full. The deal that would have brought him here was a loser from day one and would have hurt the team more than it helped. Some don't agree with that. My post was for them. FWIW.. I agree with you. Didn't like it one bit.
December 6, 200421 yr Actually the glass is completely full. The deal that would have brought him here was a loser from day one and would have hurt the team more than it helped. Preach it nuke!
December 6, 200421 yr I'll live, but I still think his addition would of been a big lift. Oh well though, their are plenty of other options out there.
December 6, 200421 yr How bad are the Sox if Randy would rather stay in Arizona than come here?? I don't see where he has ever indicated that he'd rather be in Arizona then Chicago. I've just seen that he does not want to be in either place He doesn't want to stay in Arizona nor does he want to go to Chicago. He wants to go to a contender. If you were in one of the last years of your career, would you want to go to a team that has finished in second or third place 4 straight years?
December 6, 200421 yr Dorf quick with the sig change. Atta' boy! Dirt off your shoulders! ROTFLMAO!!!
