These are prospects we gave up. PROSPECTS. And we are getting PROVEN middle of the lineup power. I think this is a very good deal. We didn't lose any of our pitching from last year, this only improves our ballclub. Gio wasn't going to help us repeat, but Thome will.

I'm kind of upset that this means Frank or Pauly is long gone, but Thome is going to be a killer at the Cell and he will not disrupt the chemistry at all, he is a great leader.

I started him and obviously I owned everyone in my leauge and scored the most points this week. Brees is quite possibly the most underrated QB in the game.

What a great day of football. The Bears game was great, ATL-TB had a good game, Baltimore knocks off the Steelers, and the Colts and Bengals game is shaping up to be a classic. Too bad I have to go to work in a few minutes

Bears defense is playing amazing. Orton is doing great, and should have two TDs but Moose became a pussy and dropped a TD and two other passes that would have been first downs. I think I was one of maybe 3 people who thought we would win this game.

This thread made me go get Subway for lunch. 12 inch Spicy Italian, no veggies, mayo, mustard, salt/pepper, and vinegar and oil.

Valpo is ranked third over here in Indiana. Two huge junior recruits (Rob Hummel and Scott Martin) are going to lead us to the state finals where we will knock off Greg Oden and show all the scouts who the best players in the state are.
