The upcomming series in the roller dome got me thinking about Mike Ditka cause who could forget the time back in 1987 I think it was when he went roller skating through the halls of the metrodome. That wasn't my fav moment though. My fav Mike Ditka moment is when he went nutsoid in San Francisco & threw his chewing gum at a fan in the stands.

I think as long as we bring all the guys a good pair of roller skates we'll be fine.

I'll still never forget when Kirk Gibson nailed one off of him in 1988. That was so awesome.

Koch has what is possibly the first 1-2-3 inning of his life and all of a sudden he's a saint. I am not convinced.

I say we'll split the series & maybe take 3 of 4 if we play really well. There's almost no chance that we're gonna sweep them up there.

Fair weather fan I am not. I have been one of Koch's biggest bashers & a couple of good outings after a season-plus of crap from him is not going to change my mind at all. He's still Billy Botch to me until at least the break & if he plays consistently well until then then I can see moderating my position somewhat.

NASCAR. Jeez-us. I fail to see how people get all hyped up about that anyway. All NASCAR is is a bunch of leadfoots driving around in circles for 4 hours & stopping for gas & new tires every so often. The only thing I find at least amusing about NASCAR is the crashes. Dodgeball was the s*** back when I was growing up. We played it in P.E. all the time when I was in school & I can easily see why it's still so popular.

I was riding in my car yesterday listening to Q101 and they were talking about gay marriage for a little bit & one of the hosts brought up an interesting point. He basically said that if you're gonna use the bible to denounce gay marriage then there are some other things that you need to be for/against as well. -For the ability to sell your daughter into slavery -For the death penalty for those who plant more than one type of crop on their soil -Against cutting your own hair -For the ability to import sex slaves from other lands The host claimed to have quoted those examples from various bible passages. I'm totally apathetic about gays getting married but those points that were brought up were most interesting.

Who really gives a crap. The Wolves are the only pro hockey team in Chicago these days so it doesn't matter who is coaching the Slackhawks.

AHHHH Bobby Pigpen ( Yes I spelled it that way on purpose ). He was awesome when he played with us.

Butter was a really appropriate name for him cause he melted quick when the heat was on. What a sorry sop he was.

Talk about a rubber arm. WOW! That was most impressive.

You do see my point about the consistency issue though right? That ERA looks pretty good to be sure but if you give up nothing one day then 8 the next then you still have a 4.00 ERA. What I want to see from him is the same Garland come out every time like with MB.

I dont think abybody could ever be THAT annoying.

I sure hope you're right because I'd like to see this 5th starter deal get resolved so KW can work on dealing with other problems.

Whatever gave you that idea? I havent seen a pitcher get owned like that 2 straight starts in a long time.

Could you imagine how ugly it would be with Felix "Tee Ball Stand" Diaz in the mound in the roller dome? The very thought makes me shudder.

In the Roller Dome no less. Hopefully he owns a good pair of skates cause he's gonna need em.
