The only way they can keep it up is if Larkin & Griffey can both stay healthy. Those two are the power guys in that lineup.

This is such a f***ed up situation. Sox brass pinned their 5th starter hopes on Danny Wrong of all people & now we're in a world of hurt because of it. KW knew this was a problem & he did nothing about it except hope that it went away. KW has done a lot of good things for this organization with what he was given but he needed to do something about this & didn't.

He gave that base away to load the bases. It's always better to just load the bases with one out to set up the DP than to throw something over that gets hit into LF for a couple of runs. He played the percentages & it didnt work. Get em next inning, that's all. Santana looks really hittable today.

The way things are these days that 5th slot in the rotation is a guaranteed blowout loss for us. Until KW can bring in someone who is truly capable of filling the 5th starter role for us we should stop playing the destructive game of musical chairs we've been playing & let the 4 actual no-s*** starting pitchers we have on the team handle a little more work. Thoughts?

They didnt do that to Felix Diaz. I did & I'm not offering any apologies. Neil Cotts got used as a tee ball stand for sure tonight but I know he's better than that. If he goes out & gets slapped around again I might not be so sure and the bashing will start from me. Right now Cotts is not starter material. I knew it, everybody here knew it & Ozzie Guillen knew it but it's not as though he had already thrown 100 pitches & was getting tired. He went out there & right from the get go was being slapped around by Minnesota. Correct me if I'm wrong but a man in his position should be able to go 2-3 innings without getting slammed like that right? I would not be so pissed if he gave up only 1-2 runs but 4?!?!? For those who say Cotts was thrown to the wolves I say Bulls***! The plan was for him to go 3 innings or so & then come out. They were at least realistic in that but who knew he would blow it so bad.
