I'd be a little wary of watching the 5th starter myself.

One thing that really made me smile was what happened at Wednesdays game over in section 113. A foul ball came in and bounced then hit a small kid. The ball ended up with some dude that was a half a row down & the dude gave it up to the kid without hesitating. Soon after another foul ball came along a couple of rows down & that fan gave up the ball to the guy that gave one to the kid. I was impressed.

That's what I'm talking about!!!!

He's giving up too many hits.......... Someone on the other team hit a ball to the warning track......... Texas got a couple of guys on base........... Jeez, will the carping never end. He just shut out one of the most potent offenses in the American Leauge & you have to find fault. I guess some people can't be satisfied. Just enjoy it will ya. One more thing. It's about damn time the Sox started getting some runs for him. If the O had been supporting him consistently during his time here he'd have at least 10-15 more wins than he already has.

I really liked Maddux when he was with Atlanta & even when he was a Flub.

Just when you start to think Uribe is coming back down to earth he has a monster game like tonight & goes on a tear all over again. He is awesome.

My nickname carries over from the dark ages at WSI. Being the rabid Sox fan I am and seeing how Cleveland was our biggest rival at the time I started posting on Sox message boards I think the name speaks for itself.

People complaining about high gas prices in America should look at Europe. They are paying 2 to 2 & a half times what we pay for a gallon of gas. Despite the sharp rise in gas prices ( which will subside in due course ) we've still got it easy compared to other nations.

I think the last really good "Real World" was the one they did in Boston a few years ago. Since then it's been all about queers. They keep pounding on the f***** / lesbo theme & thats really annoying. I can deal with it a little bit but when you hear about it every 5 minutes it gets old really fast.

I got till December in Korea then I'll be transferred back to the U.S. somewhere. It aint nearly as bad over there as it is in the sandbox so I can deal with it real easy. There's always Soxtalk to keep me up on whats going on with the team & where I can rant about Valentin or Caballo so its all good.

I was listening to Q101 tonight & they were saying that MTV is making a new channel that is taylored specifically toward Gays, Lesbians, Transsexuals etc...etc... If this is so then does it mean that they are finally gonna take TRL & Real World off of the main MTV channel?

Everybody around me was laughing like hell when I was ragging on him.

You got a good point there. Some games I think Jose is playing soccer instead of baseball with all his boots. Also, the safest place to be is on the dunk tank seat when Valentin is throwing at the target.

-A much less violent night in the stands. I was in section 113 which was fairly close to where the action was last night but nothing happened. I guess when fans have to pay full price for tix they have less cash on hand for alcohol. -Nice to see Loaiza as sharp as he was tonight. I wanted to see him pitch the 9th to finish it up but its all good cause we won & I got to see Shingo make a couple of batters look silly. -Valentin finally figured out how to lay off a curve ball after K'ing on one in his first at bat. The fans in my section loved it when I yelled at Valentin to lay off the curve. On that pitch he got that single on he was out in front again. He couldn't hit the fastball either cause he Ked twice on fastballs. For tomorrow's game he should go out there with a telephone pole to see if he can make some solid contact. -Is it just me or is Konerko drawing a lot of walks lately?
