Lance "James at 15/16" Kerwin notwithstanding, Salem's Lot was great. Along with the Shining, it was probbably the best Stephen King adaptation. Yeh Kerwin is kind of a dead fish, but I don't mind him too much overall. The scenes with the kids floating outside the window, scratching the glass are great. They're remaking it with Rob Lowe as Ben and Donald Sutherland as Straker. I don't think it'll top the first one but I'll be interested nonetheless.
