    ASB2004

what the hell are you talking about. i've been playing this game for like a month and i haven't run into your problem, i guess you just can't figure things out. that's ok. no reason to get all fired up. and the your mom stuff, wow. what are you, four years old? "It's ok why don't you spend some time guessing the pitch and pitch location." i don't know what that's supposed to mean. i told you have no problem hitting, you were the one whining about how hard it was.

uh, your mom doesn't count. Oh yeah? How about the Future Throw? What if I am fielding a ball in the corner and I hit triangle to throw it to second. The ball goes to the cut off man and the guy has rounded second, so I should be able to throw it to 3rd. But OHHHH WAIT, FUTURE THROW has decided that once I hit triangle after the ball is hit, the ball must go to 2nd base and the runner takes third because a cutoff man cannot make a decision for himself because he is a f***ing android. Don't tell me you never hit future throw for the wrong base because you will be lying to yourself. If you don't pick a base the computer usually throws it home too. Why don't you go play the awesome trivia game? Lord knows that wasn't a waste of space on the game disc. haha you are so feeble minded, it's kinda sad. you are all worked up about this game for some reason, i don't get it. you can change the future throw. i guess you are not clever enough to figure it out. if you are fielding the ball and you hit triangle, it's gonna go to second, not the cutoff man. the cutoff man is a totally different button. secondly, (and stay with me here, it gets a little complicated haha) if you hit L1 to throw to cutoff, then triangle before it gets to him, and the guy is rounding second base, you can change it to square before it gets to the cutoff man. he'll throw to third, not second. "a cutoff man cannot make a decision for himself because he is a f***ing android" hahaha wtf you either want the game to do everything for you, or you don't understand how video games work. i would guess the latter, since you apparently can't figure out how this one works. maybe a sesame street counting game is more your speed.
  3. when did i say i advocated it. i have always said it wasn't something i wanted but i understood why it had to happen. you spend your life tearing down the president on a message board, that's fine. i just don't see what it will accomplish.
  4. apu you are a small man with small-man's motivations and small-man's goals.

uh, the franchise mode is good. and i'm not the only one that thinks so. if you don't want them to catch it down low, then move the guy up, it's that simple. why don't you whine some more you sissy. if you had any skill at all you could tell if a pitch was out of the strike zone and lay off it. if you like things to be wicked easy then that's fine too.

Agreed, basing my opinion on ASB 2003. The fastballs are usually too fast where you have to check swing on every pitch if you want a chance of making good contact. Yes I hit homeruns, but only with power guys, non-power guys will NEVER hit a homerun in this game i swear. Even if you put a guy who can hit 10HR a year in a homerun derby and sit dead-red and swing power cursor at fastballs they just can't elevate it out of the park. Also fielding in ASB2003 pretty much sucks too with the fly balls occasionally dropping in front of fielders. Need I mention that rounding first on a routine double often results in button mashing frustration. (It's ok cuz i got ASB 2003 for $19.95) Don't Buy ASB 2004. uh, the fastballs are not too fast. you can hit a pedro or randy johnson fastball, at least i can. i can hit homeruns (on normal batting, that's with the cursor) with players like rowand and loduca. the other day i even hit one with pierre, just using the contact cursor. fielding is fine i don't know what you're talking about. "flyballs occasionally dropping in front of fielders" wtf? you think that doesn't happen in real life? and if you want to round a base on a double just hit L1 before you get to the base it's not really that hard.
  7. Darko would prolly be the #2 (nobody is going to take him over LeBron, simply for marketing reasons), but he may be declared ineligible for not being old enough. At least that's what I heard a little while ago. If he is eligible, Anthony will most likely go third.
  8. I don't think you understand that you didn't prove anything. The wings had a similar record at home last year to the the Stars' this year, yet they lost half the games they played at home in the conference finals, which proves that home ice advantage means nothing.
  9. Detroit was 28-7-5-1 at home last year. Therefore, it doesn't matter. Therefore, I'm right. Therefore,
  10. well last year in the conference finals, detroit was 2-2 at home and 2-1 on the road. therefore, it does not matter. therefore, i'm right.
  11. They DID care about winning! Had they won, they would've claimed the #1 seed. But, since they lost, they must sit at #2, which means that Dallas gets home ice advantage for the entire Western Conference playoffs. This loss is huger than you're making it out to be. actually all it does is change one possible home game into a possible away game.
  12. haha how dare you attack my avatar. i am crushed for life, someone has gone and insulted my avatar. the sun will never shine through again. im sure detroit really cared about winning. they should have plenty of time to bow down--oh wait they have playoff games to prepare for. what a shame.
  13. haha superiors wtf are you, delusional? the wings are 31 pts better, and going to the playoffs. the blackhawks are going home.

have you played asb? anyone who says it is too hard to hit is either a little b**** who won't put in any effort or a half-wit who can't learn. ya, or spiff is really gay for making that comment considering i didn't even say it however the pitcher/batter interface in asb is really really s***ty compared to wsb and the other ones. period. i never said you did, jackass. i'm saying if you haven't played you're making another wildly unqualified statement (ie: the big east sucks).

    1. i am not a gay hoodlum 2. if you are referring to heavy metal, no it's not really my music of choice. 3. i said "simple plan ugh" because they f***in suck. they called punk but they are another disturbing creation of this "pop punk" trend lately. one part blink 182 and two parts dashboard confessional = s*** like simple plan and all-american rejects. if you want good punk look to bands like bracket and swingin utters.

the reason i said shut up is b/c regardless of what you think of metal, you have to pick your battles. if cali wants to pay tribute to layne staley, let him.

  23. If I'm not mistaken, Pearlman was the one who did the John Rocker story while interviewing him on the freeway, and the David Wells story where all he talked about was Wells's weight and how much he eats etc. The man is a greaseball.
