And then some. Razor proved all his doubters wrong. And I'll get the sig done in the next couple days, I've just been swamped with stupid s*** to do for school.
  5. wsi better? haha :puke
  6. What's that about?

I hope to god they don't trade up for Manning, but if they do it would probably be Collins who gets the boot. He's older, more expensive, and not that much better.
  8. It's actually six states, but what has been done in those six states compared to any other region is still impressive considering how little of the population they make up.
  9. I could still see him winning the Vezina. 25 wins, 7 shutouts, and 3rd in the league in save pct. Having a 2.43 GAA to go along with a .931 save pct tells you a lot though about the team playing in front of him. Brodeur only saved .917 pct of his shots and wound up with a 2.03. And then there's Razor with his .926 and 2.05.

I didn't think I liked the Doors until Apocalypse Now, now I like them alot.
  11. Alright I got a couple things wrong. The Preds did make the playoffs after all. Even after the Oil made such a huge run, they boned out and lost to the Canucks on Saturday and eliminated themselves. So Nashville gets to go to Detroit and open the series there. I don't expect them to do much, but Vokuon could always jump up and steal a game or two and make it interesting. The Avs didn't win the Northwest because of that Nucks win over Edmonton. So they instead settle for the fourth seed. They play Dallas in the first round. The Avs are still struggling, and I don't believe in Abiescher at all, so if the Stars can win a game or two in Denver I think they take it in six. The Nucks' reward for winning the division is playing the Flames. Miikka just set the record for GAA in a season, so you know their goaltending is solid. If Calgary's top line gets the scoring done, and their defense doesn't forget to bring their brains, which they sometimes do, they will have a good chance against Vancouver. This could be the best first round series of them all, and none of it is on tv. I think Calgary wins in seven.
  12. Who needs defense when you have Luongo? And I'm being serious here.
  13. New England > You First the Super Bowl, then two basketball titles. BC and Maine both in the Frozen Four. Bruins are 2nd seed in the east. Red Sox as talented as anyone in baseball. Celtics suck, but are prolly gonna take the seventh or eighth seed in the east despite everything.

I think you mean Heather, she's not around much. Other people who are missin; HSC (left on her own), Gashwound (took a break, though I saw him the other day on here), and BMR, OldRoman, Clujer and wsc all got banned. Also I haven't seen RPS around here much since he said Sox and Roll was done.
  15. I drafted Matsui in one of my leagues as a backup to Nomar. Since Nomar is on the DL for a while I started Kaz, and well, instant results.
  16. One thing you gotta remember, these guys have basically been on a long-ass road trip since spring training started (mid-February?), which is why I don't worry until they play at home. Having to go to NY for four games after this is a b**** of a trip to make, but if they get out of these 6 games with a split, or maybe even 2-4, I'll be happy. After that, 15 of the next 18 are at home. That's when I think they'll really get on track.
  17. Without knowing too much about the Canes, it would seem they need to find a finisher with that eighth spot, someone who can get down low and get some garbage goals. The young players they have like Staal and Cole are good, but better passers than they are scorers. They already have a solid defense, and if they didn't only have one goalie (for all intents and purposes; Storr is awful) for most of the year, they might have been able to make a run at the eighth seed.
  18. I knew what you were saying, about putting something like that in the papers and sending the wrong message about how role models solve their problems. I was just agreeing with 1422 as far as, that's how we should all solve our problems.

  22. Contemplated the alcohol, but it's a monday and it woulda been four times in five nights. Settled for MVP and Uconn/GA tech.
  23. I watched that whole game, my roommate (huge BoSox fan) freaked out after the Crawford home run. I told him it was no big deal, all the good teams lose on Opening Day. A little harder to convince myself of that today.
