Also Bullard has given up 7 runs all season, and he gave up 6 in that start. So, using simple math, if you subtract 6 from 7 you get 1 run in 5 and 2/3 innings. I think that is pretty decent myself.

Oh ok I see how strikeouts are more important than ER allowed...dumbass.

With the 14th Pick in the Draft, The Bears Select
Spiff replied to CWSGuy406's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Bears will take Ryan Dinwiddie. If anyone can tell me about him without looking him up, you will gain instant respect. Also, if you can tell me his connection to a current Bear player, double bonus points. -
McNichol 10 IP 5 H 0 ER 2 BB 8 K .70 WHIP and no mention Also, Bull had one bad outing that f***ed up his ERA but as a reliever he has been lights out.

Yeah but they have them for this year, and Jerry Porter is young. They can win with those three this year, which is obviously what they want to do. They need a linebacker, a safety, and a running back among other things. The draft is deep with recievers, they can wait and get quality.

I still dont think the Giants will trade up, I think the Skins will take Sean Taylor if he's there, and I don't see Andrews falling that far. Also I don't see how the Raiders can take another reciever when they have so many other holes to fill, like RB. I think they keep trading down til they get to a spot to pick a Kevin Jones or a Chris Perry and either Jacksonville or Atlanta takes Roy Williams.

I honestly don't remember why. I didn't really like baseball or any other pro sports til about 1993. It's not like anyone around here was a White Sox fan, but I remember how sorry the Red Sox were, not anything I wanted to attach myself to. Back then Frank and Griffey dominated the landscape as far as superstars. Everyone else seemed to like Griffey more, but I liked Frank because he wasn't trying to please anyone, he was just this enormous guy who went out and hit the crap out of the ball. It was probably a combination of him, the cool uniforms, and using them in video games all the time.

Yeah it's definitely Keystone Ice, much worse even than the Beast. I still have 10 Keystones under my desk and one in my fridge that I can't even look at. :puke

Archie Manning said no to SD for Eli

I hope the Giants pretend like they want him, and get the pick from San Diego for nothing, then pick Gallery. -
From what I've heard (never having been in jail), rapists and child molestors get absolutely abused in jail. The other inmates know why they're in there, and alot of the time they get really fired up about it.

I'm guessing Spidale went on the DL when Acevas came off of it the other day.

Steve don't steal SOXMAN's rant that's wicked had.

It was a South Park reference, last night's episode was about Michael Jackson.

No, the whole regular season and playoffs.

It's somethin they started a couple years ago in the NHL. The road teams wear white, like in the NFL.

I guess I got four out of seven right, because I never really picked a winner in the Ning-Isle series. I really must have been drunk to pick the Devils, but I was right about a few other things like Vokuon stealing a game or two, Flyers-Devs being the most boring series (though TB-Isle and SJ-STL were also pretty boring), and Calgary upsetting the Nucks in seven. In this round. The Ning are not going to slow down against Montreal. They have the speed that matches up well against the Habs, and a solid defense. I think they take it in five games. The Flyers will benefit from having rest, and may jump out to an advantage in the series, but I think the way Belfour is going right now you can't bet against him. Leafs in six. Sharks and Avs will be a cool series, because the Sharks have the defense to deal with a high-scoring team like the Avalanche. The key is whether Abeischer can stand up and deny the Sharks' chances. I think the Avs will grind out a win in seven games. As far as Flames-Wings, this is the one I will be watching the most. The Wings are real solid, but they are also real old. The rest will help them, but I'm not sure it will be enough. Datsyuk, Holmstrom, guys like that are going to have to carry the load. I see the Flames beating them up and wearing them down, with Miikka playing a solid goal, they take it in six.

I agree, people can be too uptight.

He shoulda played Prusek to begin with...

Mussina sucks, I'm not afraid of him. He's lost velocity and teams are just teeing off on him. And Vazquez got killed by Boston last Friday, he's not that great.

Good, more hot dogs for me.

If Gallas came up with the dollar hot dog days, and the pepsi half-price days, he's alright by me.
-
He also coached at Northeastern before UCONN hired him. One quote I saw that wasn't in that article, he told the Yankees, "Sixty years of torment is enough."

Raycroft didnt buckle, he got a stupid bounce off the post with Gonchar (of course) leaving his man wide open. Did you watch any of the series at all?
