Who said Crede was a gold-glover? Nobody. He's not bad defensively and I'd take him over a majority of the 3B's in the league right now in the field. He's still young too, he has time to fix what needs fixing.

McSorley's incident wasn't even close to as bad as this one.

Hall of Famer.

Nope there was nobody left, and like 5 minutes later it said Socket Closed etc.

I was the last remaining survivor (still there).

The one you can see is sitting on her shoulders.

I had venison once, but this was like 10 years ago, I don't remember it tasting much different than hamburger. Oh, and once I had maaco shark. That stuff was really solid, I'd recommend it.

Alright well Sonix gets it, that's reassuring. I never said Tillman was more of a hero than any other soldier who has died in battle. More media coverage does not equal more heroic. That said, he got media coverage from ESPN and when athletes die, ESPN is interested, as are sports fans. ESPN is a business also, and they do everything in the best interest of their networks. It was more beneficial for them to show the memorial service than not. Ideally, every soldier would get equal attention and recognition for what they do for our country, but what should be and what is are not always on the same plane. It is the same with anything though. When Princess Diana died, there was days and days of media coverage. Yeah, she was a good person but the main reason was that she was famous. There are a lot of great non-famous people who die every day and they don't even get mentioned on the news, nevermind live, on-the-scene coverage. Should people be bitter about that? No, not if they understand what the media is and the purpose that it serves.
-
Because they are not famous. I don't know why this is a difficult concept for some people to grasp.

The scouts were saying it would be better for him to go to school, because he thinks he's better than he is. Apparently he's a bit small and needs to bulk a little, and work on his game. They also speculated that the SI cover would probably encourage him to go pro, and I guess they were right.

I've never been afraid of flying, I love it. You just have to remember it's alot safer than driving. The planes are inspected before every flight, and the drivers have had thousands of hours of training, plus you have co-pilots in case anything happens.

Gola gola gola gola gola Gelinas is Mr. Clutch, first he tells the Nucks where to stuff it, now the Wings. Muh-muh-muh-MIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Mathew and I are the only Bruins fans around here, they're still my favorite team but the Flames (specifically Miikka) have been such a great story all year I've been pulling for them too.

Gload has a long swing and absolutely no eye. Not exactly a formula for success.

That was one of the more bizarre memorials I've ever seen. Jim Rome, Maria Shriver, John McCain, Darius Rucker and Jake Plummer on the same stage. And that was just in the first hour.

You gotta have the right sense of humor to like Dr. Strangelove, because the satire is so dry, most people get bored with the lack of slapstick humor. I love it though, it's an awesome movie.

He can't throw him out when he's three quarters of the way there by the time Sandy gets the ball.

I've been to Fenway, the Cell, and Network Associates Colisuem (Oakland). I saw SBC from the Bay Bridge but I never went inside it cause they were on the road at the time. Headin up to Skydome in about 10 days, should be cool.

I've been on that ride a couple dozen times, it's a solid coaster. They said he fell off toward the end, the end of the ride has a couple short hills, then a banked turn to the right if I remember correctly, with the fence on the left side. Maybe he wasn't fully strapped in, was on the outside seat on the turn and leaned to the left, getting thrown out? A couple years ago, the same ride's power cut off as a car was coming into the station, and the whole staff (one of my friends was working on the ride) knew it was going to hit the car that was already in the station, but they couldn't do anything about it. This is the third death I can remember at this park in the last six or seven years.

He's been a sellout since '65, why would he change now.
