That wasn't Cheat's avatar. His was the old guy with the suit with the wires.
  2. What the hell do you think democracy is? I'm not saying anything on gays and marriage cause I really don't give a s*** either way, but listening to the majority is what this country is all about.
  3. Hey WSF when did you become Brando's little b****?
  4. Yeah, that's why the ball travels forever in Colorado which is a mile high, less humid. Then in Dodger Stadium which is like at sea level the ball doesn't go anywhere.
  5. I fixed the poll for you.
  6. Aaron Rowand sucks but some of us knew this before the season started. Remember when Milton Bradley was about to get traded, I suggested we go after him, and everyone said NO ROWAND IS SO GOOD IN THE CLUBHOUSE WE DONT NEED A CANCER LIKE BRADLEY. Well Bradley bad attitude has the Dodgers in first place and we are in second. Some people, yeesh.
  7. Are you f***ing kidding me? Did you not notice that O'Brien had that team hovering around .500, even though it was Pierce and a bunch of stiffs? Doc Rivers can't shine O'Brien's shoes. Calling O'Brien the worst coach ever shows you don't know crap about the Celtics or basketball.
  8. I would say Duncan is the best player in the league, but you're right Shaq is a giant help for Kobe to have. Jordan won titles with Luc Longley and Bill Cartwright. Hmm, I wonder which is harder to do? And just because the Lakers held serve at home doesn't mean they're winning the series. It's a 3 game series now, and 2 of the games are in the SBC center.
  9. Bernard "innocent until proven" Gilkey
  10. Fametracker's 10 least essential summer films Solid article, fame tracker has some good writing, and just enough sarcasm to suit me.
  11. Yes the guy who is a .247 lifetime hitter and makes 5 million dollars is really freaking underrated. :puke

    First accidents

I've never had an accident, but I had so many close calls the first year or so. I look back on that year in amazement that I didn't die or kill someone else, because unless you are some kind of prodigy it takes a while to get used to all the unwritten rules of the road, all the niches you gotta find. There were a couple times I took left turns with cars coming on that I had misjudged and they started beeping and swearing at me. It got to a point where I'd be scared to take turns out into traffic because I thought this phantom car was gonna appear out of nowhere and start beeping at me from behind. One time I was changing a CD while turning a corner and I almost plowed into a Mercedes (barely missed it, whew). Once I was in a downtown-type area and I looked to the side to figure out where the hell I was and I almost slamed the car in front of me. I haven't had any near-accidents in a long time, due partly to experience and partly to the fact that I don't drive much at school, only when other people are too drunk.

    E3 Thread

Yeah I heard about that system requirements stuff, trying to make it available for more people. That's what made the first one great, you didn't necessarily need tons of ram or a dynamite video card to play it. Also the hacker thing, I heard about that too. People are such idiots.

    E3 Thread

Half-Life 2 was originally supposed to come out in like 1989. It's ridiculous how many times it's been delayed. But I've seen the videos and it seems worth it.
  15. I said I only caught the tail end of the interview with KW, so what I said was just the feeling I got out of it. KW was talking about how Stewart couldn't find a job because he bounced around to different organizations, while KW had a connection with Reinsdorf since the time he was drafted, he never left the organization.
  16. I caught the tail end of it but I think it was about Dave Stewart having trouble getting hired as a GM, and he says it's because he's black.
  17. Cobb is such a good call. He doesn't get enough mention when it comes to all-time best, but some of his stats are just mind-boggling. I'd say; Ruth Cobb Mays But it's so close, it's hard to pick any three in any order.
  18. Don't forget Williams lost a portion of his career to military service, or his career stats would be even better.
  19. No Gods in the Troy movie, they left them out of the story.
  20. Yes and I'm also familiar with the fact that Crede is fourth in baseball for zone rating among 3B's, 1st in the AL ahead of the magnificent Chavez and Koskie. Also, I wouldn't recommend being so condescending to me, I've been one of your biggest allies.
  21. I'm sure the guy working for 8 bucks an hour at the factory feels sorry for Barry, having to be on his feet all day. What a hard job.
  22. Crede 2 errors in 59 chances in 27 games = overrated. Valentin 5 errors in 63 chances in 12 games = underrated. Consider my mind blown.
